You are saving my life right now. A month of falling asleep in class can't compare to a few hours of studying this video. Thank you so much.

4 weeks till my exams need to pass electricity and waves to pass L3 physics lol. Was one question away from passing the electricity practice test and a few away from getting merit on waves but not feeling as confident now lol.

Hello Mr Whibley Do you know the 2 equations on the formulae sheet which are I=Imax sinwt and V=Vmaxsinwt ? Would problems come up that involves using these 2 equations? It's strange because I've been through all the past papers and I haven't used these 2 equations?

For charging and discharging inductors, the inductor voltage will both decrease. How does discharging the inductor voltage differs to charging the inductor's voltage?
@MrWhibleyPhysics Жыл бұрын
Excellent question. The inductor voltage opposes the change in current, if the current increases the voltage will oppose this increase, if the current decreases the voltage will oppose this decrease. This means that the charging inductor voltage will be in opposite direction to the discharging inductor voltage.
