(3/8) Chronic Pancreatitis Management in 2012: Diagnosis and staging of pancreatitis

I was diagnosed at age 3. Chronic pancreatitis on pancreatic divisum. My dad left when I was 2 but I found him after he died. Learned he had porphyria and it killed him. He had 5 biological children and everyone of us has issues w chronic pancreatitis. So mine was called idiopathic my entire life but now I’m pretty sure it’s hereditary. At least whatever gene mutation he had, maybe caused mine to not fuse together in utero. It’s too coincidental that all of his kids got it. Wish I could find them. I need answers!

I live in England I have upper central gastric pain light colour floating smelly stools hard to breath raging thirst extreme fatigue rapid weight loss I have had these symptoms 8 to 9 times a year for the past 8 years but keep being told the Drs can't find anything wrong . I need Help I'm to the point of giving up .

bloody stools and extreme pan in the abdomen! I had pancreatitis before1
