Which fill was your favorite? Let me know! 👇 ►Improve your hand speed in just 5 days with my FREE course! 👉 bit.ly/FasterHands (Notation Note) I notated these fills for the average drum set with only 2 toms. So there may be some very slight differences between my playing and the notation simply because I have extra toms/stacks. Let me know if you prefer it this way or if you want to see the notation match the fills exactly!

Drum Beats Online hey man just wanted to let you know that I really appreciate your way of teaching/explaining things in the videos. I am an almost blind drummer and it makes it super easy when you tell us the sticking instead of just having it written on the screen (like a lot of other drum channels do) this makes it super easy for me just to grab my phone and have it at the side of the drumkit and being able to listen and learn it instead of having to set at my TV which is the only screen big enough for me to see😉 and then having to listen remember it run to my drum kit and then try to play it.🙃 so thanks for that dude helps out a lot.😌😉🥁🥁👨‍🦯

Do you have any tips for flavorful, unique, short fills for fast music? I never had a problem being creative with fills for music under 180bpm, but the second im up at that 200-240 area, it gets insane, double strokes become inaudible, and i feel like im stuck with single strokes and double kick variations for flavor. genre is power metal

Hey,,, I get the value of practicing doubles between two surfaces-- I do that a lot in practice,, it trains the hands very well to move from one surface to the other efficiently-- HOWEVER- in the fill you used this technique it makes NO sense if you are going to play the fill at a faster tempo -- you could have gotten ExactlY the same sound by playing the left hand notes all on the snare and the notes on the toms with just the right hand-- its far more efficient and if anything you want your playing to be efficient.
