Sato was a great artist in the series and I really like how in the Broly movie they went with a warmer colour approach for the movie's look. I hope they continue this trend with the new Morro arc that's yet to be animated. Plus I hope this classic style returns

Right on! DB Super is a show that completely misses its roots minus the TOP saga and Super Broly. The manga look is what really sold on DB's appeal to begin with. I've heard the Buu Saga was where people didn't like and I can see why.

Ah Eguchi, his work on sonic CD was awesome. Great redesign, sonic feels cool and confident. His works in Dbz is also interesting as well.

One interesting thing you mentioned at the end was Hisashi Eguchi being displeased at getting his scene redrawn by Yamamuro. I'm actually quite intrigued on the animator's side on the story because of this because I don't think we hear their story on being corrected and how they feel about it.

I had a feeling these three would be your picks! I’d definitely love to see Hisada and Masunaga return to the franchise as well; their dynamic animation and strong art styles were favourites of mine. Miyahara and Inigami returning would be great also.

Haha you know me well :) With Kazuya Hisada it seems a lot of his work in the past decade has been doing character designs although it still isn't impossible that he could work on Dragon Ball in the future. But with Miyahara being more involved with CG work it's doubtful. And with Masunaga within the past decade, his overall work in the animation industry has been quite small so I don't know if he has either retired or just taking very few jobs now.

So what you're saying is bring back Studio Junio? Lol!!! I strongly agree with that. I didn't care if their episodes had a bunch of still frames or if it lack much animation. I appreciate the detailed art work much more. Episodes 28, 34, 48 and 64 are examples of how DBZ should've looked just like the original 13 movies. I wish they could've all (including Maeda) stayed together for the remainder of the series. The other animators/artist I would like to see return is Miyahara Naoki, Inagami Akira, Shingo Ishikawa, Toshiyuki Kanno and Takeo Ide from Studio Junio. I'll always prefer top tier art work with minimum movement over fluid animation that's poorly drawn.

While that would be cool to have many of those familiar names back :) It was more so just coincidence that I only had Studio Junio members in the end video as I planned to discuss others like Shuichi Iseki. It's why at the start I said "mostly alot of old school animators" as I still had him in mind. Although for me personally I prefer a mix which is why I loved Studio cockpits episodes despite being of model.
