I think foreigners should only learn formal Korean for two reasons. So we don’t get in trouble for using informal at the wrong time, less confusing, and we can learn formal easier when it’s time to use it. It’s so much harder for us to try to learn both so I think it would be better to just learn formal. Thank you.

하나,둘, 셋 .. are native (Pure) Korean numbers. 일,이, 삼 ... are sino Korean numbers which are made from Chinese numbers. I think it's helpful.💜
@pichie54094 жыл бұрын
Can I help you by saying that : 하나, 둘, 셋 are Korean number and 일, 이, 삼 are Chinese numbers. The measure word differ with wich one you use and there is some that are specific for things. Such as hour are often count with korean number while days and months are count with Chinese numbers. I don't want to go any further since I still don't master all of the variant. but I hope it helped you a little. :)

Native Korean numbers are used in - telling time - Counting objects & people - Expressing age Sino Korean numbers are used in - Telling amount of money - Measurements such as kg,cm.. etc - Telling phone number - Telling months (일월, 이월 ....)

I think certain manners should be part of a standard or constitution because it's a kind of humanity and a peaceful way of living together. I also like bowing more than shaking hands, it is not only more respectful but also avoids any kind of physical contact, which is particularly useful in the Corona period. Thank you korean onnie for teaching us that too, I really enjoy learning about it. I love your videos (like everyone else here) Please show us more of your great work in the future!
