3 BASS SPECIES in 3 HOURS - SoCal Fishing Jetty Grand Slam

Great Day Fishing for WHITE SEABASS, CALICO BASS, SPOTTED BASS. I was using Gulp swimbaits. I call this jetty fishing at it's best in Southern California - SOCAL SEABASS GRAND SLAM.
I came out to do some surf fishing but my favorite beach spot was full of seaweed. I decided to do some jetty fishing instead. Landed 3 species in 3 hours of jetty fishing. White Seabass( aka The Ghost WSB) , Calico Bass (aka Kelp Bass) and Spotted Bass (aka Spottie). I was fishing white plastic Gulp mullet grubs and Keitech fatties. A few good tips on how to fish plastic swimbaits when are on the jetty rocks.

Great Job!!! I love that area and heard Carlsbad produces some nice Halis. But so far I only fished Oceanside once. I will probably fish there next week or two!

Venice beach bro!! Any three fish caught in a single day by a single angler is considered a “Grand Slam” (aka a “Slam”) Any four fish caught in a single day by a single angler is considered a “Super Grand Slam”.... So I m working on Super slam next time need to get a Sandbass!!! Hahahaha

Berkeley Gulp Mulet ...I use 3, 5, and 6 inch depending on what I feel is in that area on that day. If I get my tail bit off on 6 inch twice I will lower it to catch the croaker or smaller bass. Smaller will get you croaker, Hali, bass, etc. Use 6 inch is for big large Seabass but you will not get smaller fish. Where are you fishing?
