The noise was everywhere for Boise State. The Broncos faced another so-called statement game on national television, this time with the pregame show held right on their blue turf. The distractions didn't get to Kellen Moore, who showed that with him at the helm the No. 3 Broncos can overcome a flawed performance. Especially at home. He saw his Heisman Trophy stock rise Saturday night. Moore completed 19 of 27 passes for 288 yards and three touchdowns, Doug Martin rumbled for 138 yards and the Broncos overcame a litany of special teams miscues and penalties to hold off No. 24 Oregon State 37-24.

Probably the most memorable game I ever attended. I was 12, it was the height of Boise State football. I still remember the weather, the smell, everything was perfect. The atmosphere unmatched. I'd do anything to go back to that night

It was definitely fun! Id say Oregon was more electric though. And honestly in 2007 maybe 2008 when Nevada led Kapernick took us to like 3 OT was a pretty crazy game. But nothing. And I mean NOTHING is better than beating Idaho on the blue. You might be too young to know about that rivalry but ask your parents all about it! When I was 12 I watched Idaho beat us by 50+ on the blue so I'll forever hate them

Was a great game really. One of the best OSU teams I've seen in a long time. Kellen was a fantastic QB !

That was Boise State's best team ever. Take away the Mark Ingram fumble against Auburn and the missed chip shot by Boise State's kicker, and the Broncos would have been playing Oregon for the national championship with a solid chance at winning.

Funny thing about that missed field goal. If Nevada had normal sized goal posts the ball may have been in. It would have been on the inside of the post potentially deflecting in. To make matters worse as a Boise state fan the next year all NCAA D1 schools had to be the same length and Nevada installed the new posts. About 5 ft longer
