Hi! I love this video, thank you so much for these amazing suggestions. I am a baby lawyer and my practice is primarily in infrastructure corporate law. I would like to pick up the books you suggested, one at a time. Which of the three would you recommend I first grab?

I would like to thank you for this advice/video. As a mexican corporate lawyer this comes in handy, I colaborate with american coworkers who are corporate counsels and it becomes interesting for them and for us mexicans to compare how we draft and manage corporations within the group according to our legal systems. Looking forward to watch more of your videos!

Hi Brett - thanks alot for recommending these resources! I currently work in big 4 M&A tax (structuring and due diligence) and am looking to transition over into corporate law (funds/ banking & finance/ corporate M&A). Questions: 1. What type of work in my current role should I seek out in order to prepare myself to make the transition? (i.e. understanding legal considerations in a deal, reading the legal due diligence requests/ reports, getting involved in reviewing legal agreements for tax - reps and warranties in an SPA). 2. Would the books you recommend combined with seeking out the right work be able to ensure that I can hit the ground running when transitioning to corporate law? (i.e. operate at a level of 2 years equivalent experience?) If not, what other resources can I seek out that would help me with the day to day of being a corporate lawyer? Thank you very much!

I'm in Spain, it's mandatory both parts had tried to get in an accord before a lawsuit, my appointment was today 3/5 /2023, two girls comes, they don't even had a power of attorney from the company to represent the company, i just accorded to continue the worker in charge give me a document which states the company refused to pay the amount claimed and also they don't offer other alternative amount. I need a book really good which i can prepare my self, knowledge before the lawsuit. Thank you all!
