I wouldn't call him hidden though, more forgotten because his development has been more gradual (and typical for a GK) than the guy (Gianluigi Donnarumma) some people where comparing him to when he was a teenager. I wouldn't mind seeing Manchester United try and bring him in if the price is right, at worst he is either a backup or gets sold on and in the perfect scenario he is your #1 for 8-12 years either outcome is better than sitting on your hands doing nothing which is the current approach United are taking at the GK position.

Literally the first time I've heard of Van Den Boomen. Checked him out and I liked what I saw. But it is saddening that Man United will not sign him or any of the players on the list. Hurts to admit it but that's the Man United we all know. They'd rather sign an 80m+ player who's average at best. I'd be so happy to be completely wrong about this come summer.

Same case as palhinha, neves, caicedo and mcallister. United should sign palhinha or caicedo at least and make sabitzer move permanent. Then go for Gonçalo ramos, Evan ferguson or Benjamin sesko. No one will be cheap but will be worth their price. United still need a right back like Dumfries or frimpong and cover for Lisandro Martinez but Josko gvardiol again won’t be cheap. Now for the goalkeeper’s position I would love to give a chance to dean henderson. He is a brilliant keeper.

The issue with Van Den Boomen is that Man United seems to be looking to challenge for a title in a few years, likely not in the next season or two. A 27-year-old is fine now, but might not be able to add as much to that push a few years down the line. Man United seems to have a real issue with age, given when they're looking to challenge, so André and Diouf would probably be more interesting options all things considered. Nice video!

Good scouting Dave, Andre and Branco are excellent players, not sure how they would perform at elite level (a team like M.United needs elite players or those who can shine at this level), and how such a big jump won't be felt on their performance, I don't know the keeper but I'll keep an eye on him but I agree with the moral of this video, Man United can strengthen the squad without having to spend "billions" but excellent scouting will be needed for this. You didnt mention, but in my opinion Man United needs two and not one striker (Martial needs to go), Vitor Roque is another player who wouldn't cost a lot of money and would be a Julian Alvarez like signing.

I’m so glad this video was made. Great options and it’s so important for us to get some quality depth for good value. I disagree with our current team being mediocre or lackluster like everyone says it is. Our best starting XI includes 5 players who were world class or one of the best at what they do even before Ten Hag came to United. De Gea, Varane, Casemiro, Eriksen and Bruno have all been known to be world class before this season started. Add to that Rashford, Shaw and Martinez and you have 8/11 players who have been up there with the best in the League at some point throughout the season. Dalot could be included in that as well, although he is more inconsistent. We can’t have the best GK, CB’s, RB (at times), LB, CDM, CM, CAM, LW and still have a “mediocre team”. On top of that, we have players like Antony, Garnacho, Pellistri, etc. who have shown a lot of potential. Having said all of this, this doesn’t mean that we don’t need upgrades. We have a very good team but there’s always room for improvement, ESPECIALLY in the depth department. We started struggling this season when our players got injured and we didn’t have quality replacements. I think the three you’ve suggested here are great. I’m not sure about Van den Boomen as I thought that’s exactly what we signed Eriksen and Sabitzer for. I feel like we’d need to spend big if we want another CM now, since we have the depth in that position already, we need the world class quality at this point. The other two options are perfect, tho, especially Diouf. I’d also like a player who can play CAM and RW for depth, similar to Mount/Smith-Rowe but cheaper. I really like Kudus but I don’t think he’d be happy with not starting most games. A backup CB would be needed as well. I really think we could do this and have an incredible transfer window as long as we sell the right players and spend smart. I saw someone the other day say that we need Kane, De Jong, Bruno Guimaeres, Timber, a GK and to bring back Greenwood (which is out of the question). I’ve seen a lot of people saying similar things to this and it’s ridiculous. I have no idea where they think we are gonna get 300-400mil from LMAO. Even just Kane, Guimaeres and some depth options would be a lot. It would be great if we could get that, tho, that’d be my dream transfer window.

Btw when pronouncing Van den Boomen, thats not how Dutch people pronounce it. It can be loosely translated to "from the trees" (boom = tree). The way you pronounce it is more like Bowen, but then make it Bowmen (van den Bowmen)

Can't disagree with any of this. Though we need a CB also or a LB so Shaw can move into CB. Van De Boomen and the young Brazilian would be great investments. Free transfer means less risk and young Brazilian means good for the future under tutelage of Casemiro. Our biggest issue is still moving on the old guard. Appreciate everything they've done but we need to show them a better future as many of them need to start... just somewhere else so we can build a powerhouse.

Doubt Boomen will be signed due to his lack of top level football at his age, Andre would be a great signing and possibly Casemiro understudy for the future. Man Utd look like signing De Gea on a new contract and looking for a new nunber 2 with Butland not being signed, its expected to be an experienced keeper, Livakovic has been named and I like him. Diouf and Livakovic, whilst letting De Gea go would be bold and best option IMO. Andre and I like Kokcu and Manu Kone, either would be cheaper than De Jong the Gaitan/Sneijder saga. Sounds like a new CB is on the cards too with Maguire leaving a fringe backup players going Tuanzebe/Jones etc. I like Ndicka on a free.

Great analysis but will it happen at Old Trafford? Are the other Top 5 teams in the EPL playing the same formation or system? Why is there so much dismantling and adjustments being done at Old Trafford? It has become a circus with regards to the inefficient operation in the club? I have no idea who these players are, but these are the kind of signing that we need to improve at. If we can supplement world class players with young and cheap talent, we'll have the financial flexibility to spend big on the generational talents. If the cheaper players don't succeeed, the financial risk is minimal and we should be able to break even or worst case take a small loss. This is the benefit of being a big club with a large budget, but we haven't leveraged that benefit in ages.
