Congrats to all the winners! Seeing Demolition/Serene Remembrance do well was so far beyond my radar that I really was shocked to see it. I was one of the ones who dismissed it about 2 months ago as being unviable, but now I have to gauntlet it again lol As for bans, I'm really only down to ban Wasteland. Curse of Silence might be a 0 for me, but the rest deserve to stay. With Chforge and Hexdrinker, I feel like we're on a slippery slope of banning things that are healthy but because of other bans, now seem stronger than they were. We said with Ocelot Pride last month (and Cenn's Tactician the month before) that if we ban it, other one-drops will be viable. Now we're saying the same thing with Hexdrinker. If we ban Hexdrinker, I bet we'll be saying the exact same thing about SCF, or Student of Warfare, or Heartfire Hero, all of which are *still viable* with Hexdrinker (or Pride) in the meta. We need good one-drops in the format and we're slowly banning them all out. Ultimately I submit to the will of the people, but I feel strongly that we shouldn't ban Hexdrinker, that Chforge isn't problematic, and that Shortfang deserves one more month.

Just a small request, can you please go back to discussing the pods in order of increasing elo? I understand the appeal of trying to group the decks themselves, but at least for me it makes it much harder to get a sense of the meta--what did well at low elo compared to what did well in higher elo groups

Yeah, it is definitely a trade off. The challenge with going through them in order of Elo is that for something like Hexdrinker + Wasteland, I would then have to announce the deck 5 times separately, with increasingly less to say each time. Covering these in order of Elo would have utility, but I believe it would be at the expense of natural flow to the video structure. I think for folks that want to get a deeper sense of meta differences across Elo ratings, the website will be a more useful tool than the videos can be.

Doesn't the serene remembrance deck lose to drawing from an empty library before it can cast all of its spells?

In 3 Card Blind, players do not lose the game for drawing cards while their library is empty. They still draw cards as usual if cards enter their library, they just don't lose the game when there are none left to draw.

Not a format player here but: - Slagwoods Bridge is an artifact AND indestructible. Comes out tapped Turn 1. - Turn 2 Gleeful Demolition targeting the Bridge. Bridge cannot be destroyed but you get 3 1/1 goblins for it. - Turn 3 Serene Remembrance shuffling both cards back into your library. Deck is immune to Wasteland, goes long, and can destroy opposing artifacts if it needs to. Nice build!

@@malasdair okay awesome! Thank you. I guess I thought that because the artifact wasn’t actually destroyed that you didn’t get the goblins but it all makes sense now.
