To answer your question at Winstar. Yes, you do have to pay ante to play. It’s 50 cents per hand on tables, and $1 on roulette, and $1 for every come out roll on craps. It’s actually not just Winstar but in EVERY CASINO in OKLAHOMA. Those ante that is collected is what the state gets.

No problem. I agree with you on that, because for a $5 hand you’re giving an extra 10% house edge so in that case you’re better off playing penny slots OR playing for more than $5 a hand. I did win a grand jackpot there a few years ago. It’s a fun place, just paying ante and actually paying for alcohol isn’t good.

So at the Oklahoma Indian casinos it’s considered “player funded” the “ante” is paid per hand. Also called the “tax”. That and Choctaw were my home casinos when I lived in Texas.

Here is an idea for you guys (for the casinos actually, but you bringing it could benefit your social media numbers) Have a casino set up a table in a segregated area. Use one of those fancy tables with 9 cameras and allow guests to film themselves gambling (the casino would just need cell phone stands). People would lap it up (separate area to avoid copyright stuff). The casino would get free advertising and they could possibly get a little of the social media money of their own. Folks would have a record of their trip. The guests would have to schedule the table. If a group wanted just them (wedding/birthday/bachelor party, etc). JUST AN IDEA... 💃🙏💜🤣

AC you have to buy the odds on the 4 and 10 on the craps table before the number hits. So I only play numbers 6-8. Casino has enough of an edge without paying them first.
