One i highly recommend is Hotel Tavinos Its on airbnb and has everything for tourists and foreigners visiting I've stayed at all 3 locations they have 2 in Tokyo and 1 in Kyoto Greetings from korea 🇰🇷 😊❤

Welcome back Ken, I need to catch up on the last 3 videos. This is really interesting. When I come to Japan I look for comfort and often stay in Ueno because it is well connected to Narita. Personally I wouldn't stay in any of the 3 hotels... but in the last one when you jumped you really made me laugh! The problem is many times, having a bit of relaxation, especially the bathroom in the room, can change your perspective a lot, thanks for the video!

ya i work and live in chiba and i used to go on staycations in tokyo. ive done the whole capsule hotels and eventually tried hotel chains like APA, super hotels. You used to be able to stay at these hotels from 3,000 to less than 10,000. These days not anymore.

I stayed in a capsule hotel that wasn’t to far away from Shinjuku station. It was super comfy and pretty cheap to stay in.

I plan to visit Japan and Asakusa is where I want to be but 1980 hotel won't work for me because I'm claustrophobic. MyCube by MyStays also in Asakusa may work for me because the ceiling is high. But, a lot are suggesting Hotel Tavinos which cost a little more but not super expensive.

I stayed in the 1980 yen capsule hotel for 8 nights. It was good but I have a difficult time going up and down the ladder. The location is half a kilometer from the Hibiya line so it will take you lots of walking with heavy luggage

@@ken_honda Customa Cafe for sure. Best value overall. I wish they have bigger space for 1 person room. $20 USD is the avg price for 1 person 12hrs, Some travelers will be willing to pay $30 or more to have a bigger room.
