@SHADOWMAN2969 жыл бұрын
Hush don't tell everyone. The majority of songs are all 3 to 4 chords even many Mozart pieces. That's the harmony part. The melody is written over those chords and usually involves only 3 to 4 notes. We musicians don't want the world to know that. We want them to think it is complex and that we are genuises. Lol.........
@diamondnova75989 жыл бұрын
Except when you get into chromatic harmony then the progression expands
@Dreadlock12277 жыл бұрын
SHADOWMAN296 I mean if you're staying true to the key you're playing in, there's only 7 possible roots that you can base chords off of. And only 3 major chords and minor chords each so it's really not that complicated at all. Like if I'm trying to figure out a song in the key of G and I hear a minor chord, I know it has to be either Em, Bm or Am
@rebelartwork7 жыл бұрын
Corey Liddil you forgot sharp and flat keys.
@rubenapol95037 жыл бұрын
SHADOWMAN296 Yeah but you forgot to mention that Mozart composed during the era of Classisism. Romantic music is far more complex and uses all the chords you can imagine. Same with a genre like Metal, where there are often very ingenious chords progressions

The extra instruments are to facilitate the lack of imagination that the majority of people have. He never said these songs only used 1 guitar and 3 chords. It doesn't matter what melody is played over the chords--the root notes are the same.
