I 100% agree about the dispersion being chaotic on 3 click. It feels like stick swing dispersion is way tighter. I’ve been playing stick swing but use 3 click putting. Seems a lot easier to me

I think if you hit 100% or less on power it should come down at the speed you are used to, but if you overswing it should come back a lot faster. Or you could make the perfect at the bottom a sliver if you did max swing and proportion the width of perfect hit between a sliver to normal width as you go from 10% overswing on down. Either way they should do something if they are giving you almost 10% more distance. Also they should fix the lag, you and apex both noticed lag.

Everybody’s Golf on the PS4 had a good 3-click swing system, with with that little hint of delay that you talk about in this game. I’m looking to get 2k’s or EA’s pga game. I just saw this and I saw your video for the 2K’s 3-click. So far, I’m leaning to EA’s game.

I’d agree on hard settings that it falls somewhere between pro and master 3 click on 2K23. Hope the make it harder.

Thanks for uploading this and as per usual, your commentary is spot on. Appreciate your honest feedback and authenticity. Absolutely agree with you that another level or expert difficulty is needed to be implemented in the game. The game hasn’t even been out a month and heres a potential course record on their hardest setting, that doesn’t seem right. (Reminding myself this is a video game haha, oh well, I’m invested in the content!). Why does it seem game developers continually lose sight that this may be an issue at launch? Sure, you may be catering to only a subset of your customers by using time to focus on making a difficultly at such a tough level, but it’s also what gives someone the desire to go back and put in the time to “master” a game. Or else, it gets dull and loses the appeal for any future iterations as you expect the next game to be “too easy” or not worth the investment. Make an extreme difficulty setting, put a warning disclosure next to it advising of how challenging it is, whatever it may be. But struggling through a course is also what makes The US Open such a popular event. It’s a grind. It’s frustrating. Scores are not great and different than the others. But the winner is so deserving. To be honest, when I watch a content creator that is just dominating a course, I just turn it off. The payoff is thin and was it really worth my time? It’s not really “different” than anything else out there (which is why I thought your PGA2k 3-click challenge was so compelling). I’m sure people will disagree, but just my own opinion and viewpoint. Regardless, love your channel, thanks for your advocacy. I also applaud EA as it seems like they are doing a great job thus far listening to other feedback and adding to the game. It’s still very early for them with the game, patience is always key, and I believe they are on the right track to having the premier title in this space.

The 3 click in 2K is fantastic! And, 3 click and swing stick should be separate. 3 click, no matter how you spin it, ain't swing stick.

So this is basically the same concept as kicking in Madden? I haven't tried it yet but I find it odd to play a golf game without an analog stick as the input

It's a little tricky on console. 30 FPS on console gives it even more of a delay. Also three-click was invented for more of a casual audience and peope with disabilities who can't use the stick so it doesn't necessarily need to be very hard. So I think it doesn't really need tuning. They could possibly add one more difficulty called Masters or Legendary with an expert swing. And that could be for both three click and analog.

I agree on the more casual, but the lower difficulties could be used to continue to provide that accessibility to people while harder difficulties can be given to those that want it. Some people play 3-click because they like it more and want a harder experience. I am hoping that a harder difficulty for both swing types can be included as well at some point.

@@MoreRespawn Considering the challenge on 3 click for 2K23 which is great this plays like a beginner difficulty rather than the hardest .I was hitting the white points very easily as the the speed is so slow. Are EA even interested in making this game challenging on both swing types. Very disappointed with the game on so many levels.

2K23 dumps all over EA PGA. Played an online 9 hole match today and my opponent was -12 for 9 holes😂 Absolute trash.

its a shame isnt it. 3 click system they have is good, the mechanics are great, but the overal speed of the meter is far to slow, even on simulation it's easy to get P/P. Uploaded a -20 3 click tour round with hard/hard swing a few days ago but it just wasn't rewarding. I also don't understand how 10% extra power can be had going into the red either, when on analogue max you can get is like up to 3% or there abouts. But I'm with you 100%, its great to have 3 click in the game, get everyone involved playing however they want to play the game. We play videogames for fun at the end of the day.

It seems that EA just can't get their head round the idea that some people like to be CHALLENGED in a golf game. Too easy off the tee, rough and bunkers not penal enough, putting too easy to avoid three putt, hardest 3 click level too slow a swing. Shame because there is a lot to like in their game.

I've been playing with the 3 click on normal mate. Been using Ian Poulter with some wind and I'm finding it very tough. I'm finding some courses are a lot tougher than others too.

Ridiculous. Play links 2003 on challenge form fast gusty and you won’t break par. Swing meter moves quickly and sand shots are really challenging. EA NEEDS to up this game. Will stay with 2k. Great video. Love your content

Looks like they still need to make the percentages go down when you're in the rough, bunker, etc. Being inaccurate needs to be more of a penalty, *especially* when you're playing a course like Torrey Pines..

As a casual player I was hoping the 3-click feature would be my saving grace. However, I too am experience that input/registering lag. That, a long with the putting has turned me off on this game.
