You can imagine RAM as tunnel, if the RAM is big in number then tunnel area is big which help you move data easily in storage area, if RAM is small in number then big data would take time to move, as wellas your processor will heaten up.... Register and cache is provide the speed for data.

Hello sir . I have 3 doubt.. 1- is RAM,Main memory and memory unit is same ..if not then what is difference..please clear it sir..very confusing 2- can we consider 'serial bus' also as a part of CPU(buses)?? 3- clock speed is a term or part of CPU??
