Ohamen Merit dear you can apply conditioners and some hair oil on it. Make sure the hair is wet before applying it. . Thing is we all face this issue of dry hair . So we just have to moisturizing the hair often. Also if you have shear butter you can make shear cream. It’s also very moisturizing

First you need to find out what type of hair texture your child has. Not all products work on everybody due to different hair textures. For 4c hair natural raw Shea butter softens it. I use a mix of coconut oil, olive oil, and Africa’s best herbal oil to grow my kids 4c hair. My daughter is 6 months and her hair is touching her back. It’s important to take care of their natural hair young and create a hair routine. Teach your child to love her natural hair and take care of it so it’s long and beautiful and they don’t need fake hair. For dry hair I wouldn’t recommend washing it as much. I wash my kids hair once or twice a week or every 2 weeks because shampoo and conditioner strips the oil out the hair leaving it dry again. So I don’t do that everyday. Hope this helps ! I would also avoid fake hair on your child at that age because it tugs on the scalp. If you use rubber bands for protective hairstyles make sure you soak it in olive oil first because it also tugs and pull on the hair and scalp but if u soak it in olive oil it mosturizes it and softens the rubber bands.
