If that interview doesn't underline the fact that pool is a mental game, nothing will. Excellent. Great to see something other than 9 ball when possible. I have gotten so sick of rotation. Eight ball, straight, one pocket, anything is better than 9 ball, for me any more. Cheers. 🙂 If you could ever find a Pyramid tournament, that would be very cool, as well. Snooker is readily available elsewhere, so that isn't particularly necessary. Pyramid is NUTS, maybe even close to up there in difficulty with 3 cushion, at least it looks that way. For me, as a standard league type 8/9 player, this game looks almost too hard to be real. I think if I completed a shot, other than the short obvious ones, it would be mostly just luck. I expect my completion rate would be about 1/ twenty innings, maybe worse. That shot at 8:50 was the very definition of touch. I saw Ronnie O' Sullivan give this a shot in the US on his special and he said he really enjoyed the delayed gratification. Unsurprisingly he was able to pick it up very quickly. I think Efren's understanding and proficiency at this game, pro level, is what generated a lot of the magic., This is some seriously powerful knowledge for every other pool game. That Asian fellow sure doesn't get spooked by being well down late, does he. Amazing run. "English is not my mother tongue" You speak it better than MANY Americans I know, good sir. Spoiler, this is an AWESOME match. Thanks for the free entertainment. You guys rock.

Sayginer is a vain, preening fop - one of the most talented 3 cushion players ever but its hard not to laugh watching how he poses with every movement of his body. I think he would be perfectly happy to play in a room with mirrors on every wall. That way he could see himself wherever he was positioned or moving.

That is to beat the players over the head with if they give him grief. These three cushion guys can be really dangerous. That was painfully evident here on several occassions. :-/ :-) He only uses the butt end if it gets seriously out of control, though.
