I hate taking my decorations down and I just started today. It takes me multiple days to do it for health reasons and just the amount I have. Having the decorations up helps me with seasonal depression so I leave them up at least until Epiphany and sometimes until the end of January. Michelle, if you put up your over 5 hours of organization and taking down your decorations. I would watch it. I find it fascinating 😃

You are so NOT the only one! When my older daughter was about five she and her friend thought it would be a grand idea to hide/stash cheese slices ALL OVER THE HOUSE. I found them for days in drawers, beds, etc. When asked why she just said, " I think I need cheese Mama."

Hi Michelle, I was pleasantly surprised by this video, I just watched one the other day so I didn't expect another until next week. I'm out of commission because of my back and at times quite bored just laying around! I've been playing June's Journey for about 2 years now and enjoy finding the hidden objects. I hope you enjoy playing it too! I enjoy your chatter as you go through your chores, you're interesting. Because I'm laid up I've checked out a couple other cleaning and organizing you tubers but your content is head and shoulders above the others, so Thank you.

@@Iamhome365 Hi Sinead Thank you! It's a wee bit better. I'm not exactly sure what I did, I have arthritis in my hips and back and I'm losing so much flexibility that I'm finding normal everyday living is getting extremely difficult. Putting on socks and tying up my shoe laces is unbelievably difficult and/or painful. Anyway not to bore anyone but this is now week 2 of flat on my back and although I'm beginning to be a bit more mobile sitting is still too painful! Lol on the bright side watching these videos is giving me lots if inspiration to get my disorganized house into some kind of order!

Good morning, happy Sunday. I have all my Christmas decorations put away. It pushed me into to organizing my kitchen. With hosting Christmas with all the family there was a lot of help with kitchen clean up. Using platter and large bowls etc. that are not used daily. A lot of things were put away in the wrong cabinets & pantry so I have been reorganizing those spaces. Also I used a lot of extra sheets and blankets because family also stayed overnight. I decorate the beds with Christmas sheets and bed spreads. I have redone all the bedding, washed and packed the Christmas bedding away until next year. It’s a lot of extra work but I truly enjoy spending special time with family. I am getting back into my routine of prepping my week with meals and baking. It feels so good to have everything back into its place and my refrigerator neat and clean. With all the extra it was like playing the game of how much more can we put into the refrigerator and still shut the door. 😂😂 The nice thing about un decorating is it gives you a chance to deep clean the space. I have been playing Junes Journey for well over a year. I am now on my second island. 🎉 It’s enjoyable. Until next time take care. ❤😊

Hey Carolyn! I totally understand! With the holidays there is so much more to do and clean while hosting but having the extra family over makes it enjoyable and worth it! Glad you have everything settled back to normal! Thats always a great feeling!

Yes! Tree bags are the way to go! I only discovered them a couple years ago. And now I'm seeing some that have wheels on one end so you can roll them....I may have to try those out!

Michelle you can clean the bouncing house with awesome and Clorox cleaner spray and then use the pressure washer to wash it off!!

My niece used slime on my kitchen counter which is corian . I had to have someone come in and refinish it. My house is a no slime house as well

Sue Wolfe- When one of my sons was 2 years old, he took a red Sharpie marker and made two inch marks every 3 or 4 inches on every wall in our dining room, living room and in the hallway!! Ugh!! We ended up having to paint, wallpaper and put a chair rail in all those areas.

Have u tried storing your tree ribbon rolling on an empty wrapping paper core.. I find the ribbon won't wrinkle when stored.. love your videos..

Hi Michelle, I absolutely LOVE your videos, you are so positive,you make me realize how grumpy I am, 😂, I’m 58 so that explains it, only kidding. I am definitely a money person, I’ve been working since I was 13, starting with babysitting and a paper route plus cutting a lawn for a neighbor once a week in the summer as a kid. My dad was poor and became successful, with hard work, college and very savvy investing in the ‘80’s. Sadly he never truly enjoyed it, he died of a massive heart attack at 63. I’ve tried to enjoy what I have but it’s not easy to change, and I’d rather have a root canal without Novocain than skydive.😂 Have a wonderful week. 😊

Michelle, I have watched so far about 4 or 5 videos. How many bags of trash versus donations do you think you have gotten rid of? I love decluttering, it is an ongoing thing. We got rid of half our stuff at least.

If it gets hot in your attic, I would consider using binder clips or clothespins for the ribbon, rubber bands can melt or sort of dry rot with heat.

I agree with you about the table in the living room. I have a white sink, which I like, but just know they stain easily. You probably stay on top of things more than me but my husband’s koolaid, which is red, is the worst. Love your videos! Keep up the good work. I haven’t 👀😳👀 because I ALWAYS am the only cleaner in my house (roommates) 🤯, so I’ve always made the common areas a priority. However, 2023 is about Self Care ❤️‍🩹 and making MY SPACES a priority. So, I had a hot 🥵 mess of declutter and redecorating my personal space FIRST 🙌! I received no help with Xmas décor either, so it’s getting done AFTER my personal space is permeating positive beautiful vibes for 2023 and forever ♾️ ❤ However , I did clear the fireplace mantle and begin to organize the unused Xmas scented candles and FP deco in preparation. So, this week it will be officially down, packed with TLC, and I’m happy to say I won’t be with these roommates next Christmas. They’re nice people but taking care of the house and keeping things clean is NOT a priority. However, I’m not willing to live in filth because (thankfully) I was raised differently 😅 I do have a tree bag this year and hoping it’ll keep the tree protected 🙄🙏 Happy New Year to Everyone 🎉❤
