Are the boats self-bailing? 3:14: what gives the water those colours? How did you dry your suits?

Yes self bailing boats. Not sure what you mean by the colour. The brown colour is from peat, and the river was also in spate after rain so it was running a bit browner

We used dry salopets and once we landed for a night got changed in normal trousers and hung those on a tree

@@hntrains2 yes they are made for paddling. Fully waterproof with socks glued to trousers too. So basically you are dry up to your armpits.
