The Wooded Beardsman

3 жыл бұрын

Jeremy and I venture way up in the North of Canada and hit up some trout in small lakes and epic adventure exploring new camping areas, and new lakes. Mystery Tackle Box: mtbfish.com/bearded-woods [Use Code "BEARDSMAN" for your discount!]
We run into black flies, mosquitoes and even deer flies, but it doesn't stop us from our goal of finding the adventure that only the wilderness provides.
- Mystery Tackle Box: mtbfish.com/bearded-woods [Use Code "BEARDSMAN" for your discount!]
We camp for 2 nights in our own private crown land spot and get the lake to ourselves. We set up a primitive smoker to cook our fresh caught trout. We enjoy wonderful camp meals cooked over the fire and even shoot the slingshot to keep our aim sharp for the coming hunting season.
We use google maps to find some potential hot spot lakes for backwaters trout that we hope no one else has explored previously.

Nice video Chris, how is Jeremy going with his return to 21st century food after last year? I would encourage you to try to get your son more interested in the outdoors. Keep safe, black flies and mosquitoes may be annoying but Covid-19 is life changing, it destroys the lungs & other organs.

Hey mate, really love your vids. I'm from Australia, and at times black flies can be a pain, especially in the outback. However, next time you're in a situation like that... even though it was hot. Start a camp fire. The flies here pester us for our moisture. A fire drys the air around and keeps the flies. at bay. Hope it works over there ?
