Gido, I'm not used to seeing you wading flats - you are usually casting from cliffs into deep water! Kudos for showing the reality of struggling and improvising to adapt.

Also a carpenter and keen fisherman. Love your stuff. We have abalone and Venus ear or siffies as they called. Much smaller species and a good bait for our white and black musselcracker fish we have here in South Africa. Amazing fish. Huge fight. Very strong fish and very tasty too. Probably due to the diet of the fish. Thanks again love your work. Nothing better than getting home after work on site and you whisk us away like Peter Pan on another adventure we all wish we were on again.

Hi Gido. Your videos AND You are amazing. Just a little tip from a crabbie hunter, .... Your awesome at what you do. Maybe helpful for you to do what I've always done. Another hook Gido will make alot of difference once you get used to it. Absolutely love All your videos. GO GIDO GO!

Thanks for the tip, using two hooks at the same time? I struggled with them this trip north except in the last few hours before I left, the frustration helped me figure out my technique
@robbie81423 ай бұрын
Hey again Gido.im not In very good condition unfortunately. The second hook is meant to be about two thirds the length of the first. It will help you feel out which direction the crab is facing. With practice you will feel every crabs orientation and you will be a GUN CRABBER just like your fishing skills

@@gidosfishingadventures HI Gido. I'm so glad you gave it a go. Your amazing. It took me 2 months to get the hang of it. God dam y'all needs to invest in some upgrades, boat, motor, etc. Are there crocs there, there was an article in the news saying that those bloody crocs were moving down the Western Australian coastline and towards Perth and were already in the Pilbara? That ITech World stuff is crap, last trip to Aussie we hired a 4wd for a trip across the Gibb and down the WA coast. It was fitted with their crap, and it was not reliable at all. Move to a more reputable, quality brand dude. Catching muddies by hand is so scary, we did it but heck, I was terrified I'd lose my hand.

Why are you trading your boat up into the sand? You’re just making more work for yourself. Leave an anchor in the water then leave a tender line from the back of your boat. Let it float all night and just drag the back to the beach when you want to get stuff out.
