My husband has had this on his bucket list for years and decided it would be a good quick trip. I had similar items on my itinerary as you did and we are going at the end of September 2033. All of the hikes were super easy, actually! You don't need to worry about the difficulty as they are all heavily tracked, just bring some hiking/walking shoes and you'll be good to go 👍

Glacial till is what causes the blue color. Highly, highly unlikely that it is granite in the Canadian Rockies. Most commonly limestone.

We parked just at the trailhead about 20 minutes outside of the town before lake Louise. I’d recommend downloading all trails and using that to find the trail head!
