3 DAYS OF LAKSA!! - Eating Laksa For 3 Days Straight To Find The Best Laksa In Singapore

Laksa is one of Singapore's most popular local hawker food and I absolutely love it. Hence, I thought why not try famous or expensive laksa for 3 days straight to find the best laksa in Singapore? Despite 3 days of laksa, while I was editing this video, I felt a strange desire to have laksa once again..

63 laksa at ghim moh hawker, sungei buloh laksa, and 928 laksa in yishun are some of the best ones I feel! should give those a try.

There are 3 "Originals" that started around the same period. My great grandparents were friends with 2 of them and often shared their stories. Apparently only 2 are still around - one is called George's Laksa if I am not wrong and the other is Janggut Laksa. According to my great ma, Janggut closed down for a few years because of financial difficulties and one of the employee started 328 at almost the same location. 328 was good last time but now the standard dropped sadly. Always loved Janggut and Yishun one, original or not these 2 are the best to me. Great video!

Thanks for making the efforts and stretched yourself and reachout to these stalls and try them In my opinion, when you asked where is the best laksa, first and foremost; what are your criteria for best laska. Taste buds are individual and personal hence the ratings you gave differs from your guests as well. I would not say best but better ones for me 😊 You miss out 1 Katong Laksa which used to be opposite 328. They are now located at the food court at Roxy Sq One, ground level. Use the overhead bridge and cross over. Go and try but 1 month later 🤭🤣🤣

The Sungei Road Trishaw Laksa is a big disappointment. I am surprised you rated it so high. I just went there recently.$12 for the bowl with crayfish is too much. The soup is diluted and bland. How does the crayfish contribute to the taste of the laksa? Will definitely not eat again. I think the laksa at EAT tastes better than them. Laksa should be judged by the gravy and the sambal, not the accompaniments.
