#3 Decor a circle by quilling - Trang trí hình tròn bằng giấy cuộn

Hello everyone! This week I will continue working on the topic of mandala art. (The strips that I used are quiiling strips being cut from an A4 sheet with the width of 3mm).
You use a compass to draw 3 circles with R=1, 2, 10 cm respectively. Then you use the quilling comb technique to create petals (00:11). Each petal consists of the following colors: light green, green, dark green, blue, dark blue, light pink, dark pink, red (8 strips). Then you take out the just finished part, use your finger to press down on the tip of this part, then release your hand, creating the flower petals. This work has 10 petals like that. Then you glue petals so that the bottom end of the petals touches the circle with R=2 (3:20).
You use 4 strips (light green, navy blue, pink, red). Roll up 4 quilling strips and glue them to a circle with R=1 cm (3:34) to form pistil.
To make the outer petals (4:42), you use a pink quilling strips folded in half, threaded through the gap between the two petals, one end touching the circle with R=2, one end touching the circle with R=10 . Starting at circle position R=2, you separate 2 strips and each strip is glued to a petal (4:45). You join the other end with another strip on the other side of the petal (5:00). Next, you use 1 quilling strip divided into 4 equal parts (5:29) and another quilling strip divided into 6 equal parts (5:34). Then you take the strip with the length 1/4 of the strip mentioned above, curl one end and place it in the space of the outer petal (5:50) and the strip with the length 1/6 of the strip mentioned above ( 6:00) curl one end and place it in the remaining space. Do the same with the other side of the outer petal. Then, use tweezers (7:00) to clamp the gap between the rolled strips on both sides of the outer petal into a straight line. Next, you use a small piece of red strip to cover the outside edge of the pink strip.
To make the spiral around the pistil, use 3 colors including light green, blue, and pink, roll it up, then release your hand and shape the rolled strip (7:43). Use 1/2 of the red strip to outline the outside and then paste the green, blue, and pink colors in turn until the space in the circle with R=2 is completely covered.
Next, you take 5 quilling strips including strips of the following colors: dark blue, light pink, pink, dark pink, red and use the rolling technique with a comb (similar to making the above petals) (11:00) and then place this petal in the space between the two outer petals. (12:37).
Regarding the remaining space, you use a comb with a tooth distance larger than the one of the comb you used for the above petals and 4 strips (red and pink) and quilled (13:07) as described in the video. Then you use the eraser to erase the circular border with R=10 and paste it there.

Xin chào các bạn. Tuần này mình sẽ làm về chủ đề mandala nhé. (Các sợi mình dùng là sợi quiiling được cắt từ tờ A4 có bề rộng 3mm).
Bạn dùng compa vẽ 3 hình tròn có R là 1, 2, 10 cm. Sau đó bạn dùng lược quilling để tạo cánh hoa (00:11). Mỗi cánh sẽ gồm các màu: xanh lá cây nhạt, xanh lá cây, xanh lá cây đậm, xanh nước biển, xanh nước biển đậm, màu hồng nhạt, màu hồng đậm, đỏ (8 sợi). Bạn làm 10 cánh như vậy. Sau đó bạn dán cánh hoa này sao cho đầu dưới của cánh hoa chạm vào đường tròn có R=2 (3:20).
Bạn dùng 4 sợi (màu xanh lá cây nhạt, xanh nước biển, hồng, đỏ). Cuộn tròn 4 sợi quilling và dán vào đường tròn có R=1 cm (3:34).
Để làm cánh bao ngoài (4:42) bạn dùng 1 sợi màu hồng gập làm 2, luồn qua khe giữa 2 cánh hoa, 1 đầu chạm vào đường tròn R=2, 1 đầu chạm vào đường tròn có R=10. Đầu ở vị trí đường tròn R=2, bạn tách 2 sợi mỗi sợi dán vào 1 cánh hoa (4:45). Đầu còn lại bạn ghép với sợi khác nằm ở phía bên kia của cánh hoa (5:00). Tiếp theo bạn dùng 1 sợi quilling chia làm 4 phần bằng nhau (5:29) và một sợi quilling nữa chia là 6 phần bằng nhau (5:34). Sau đó bạn cuộn các phần này lại và đặt vào khoảng trống của cánh hoa ngoài. Sau đó bạn dùng nhíp (7:00) kẹp khoảng hở giữa sợi vừa cuộn. Tiếp theo bạn dùng 1 đoạn nhỏ màu đỏ dán bao viền bên ngoài sợi màu hồng.
Để làm vòng xoáy bao ngoài của nhụy, bạn dùng 3 màu bao gồm xanh lá cây nhạt, xanh nước biển, hồng cuộn tròn rồi thả tay ra rồi tạo hình cho sợi vừa cuộn đó (7:43), sau khi tạo hình thì dùng 1/2 sợi màu đỏ để viền bên ngoài rồi dán lần lượt các màu xanh lá cây, xanh nước biển, hồng đến khi kín hết khoảng tròn trong đường tròn có R=2 đó.
Bạn lấy 5 sợi có màu lần lượt là : xanh nước biển đậm, màu hồng nhạt, màu hồng, màu hồng đậm, màu đỏ và dùng kỹ thuật tương tự như cách làm cánh hoa ở phần đầu (11:00) rồi đặt cánh này vào khoảng trống giữa hai cánh hoa ngoài. (12:37).
Cuối cùng với khoảng trống còn lại, bạn dùng 4 sợi (màu đỏ và hồng) rồi cuốn chúng vào lược (13:07) như mô tả trong video. Sau đó bạn dùng tẩy để tẩy đường viền hình tròn có R=10 và dán vào đó.

This piece is breathtaking. I always learn from you and I appreciate how you share your work so generously. The last element is one I hope to use in my future work; I’m still a beginner at mandalas and my pieces are small so far-around 3-4 inches across.
