3-dimensional Periodic Table

Here is a video describing how I built a 3-dimensional model of the periodic table of elements.

It's a good question. Does it help grouping the elements in to like physical and chemical properties? Are the physical properties more important than chemical? In these 3d models at least the lanthanides and actinides are separated nicely unlike in the planar Mendeleev diagram. The so-called 'periods' are preserved in these 3d models although the pyramid version isn't quite right. The electron shell groupings make more sense with the 3d models compared to the 2d version. If you like symmetry then the 3d versions are nice but they are not expandable above element 120. So what happens if an element above that is found/ created? Where would that be placed in the 3d model?
