Customer: "I'd like some stea..." Ped: *stares at them angrily* Customer: "I'll have the salad."

i love that once they really get the display stands going you can see the name of the restaurant changed to "that aint on the menu" and i just imagine thats what ped said to em whenever he brought the specials menu out. the specials menu that was full of nothing but salad of course.

I love the concept of the metal tables. Even after they're done with the entre they still want the side, but the table's so uncomfortable that they're just like "Screw it."

imagine going to a high class very pricey restaurant with the largest number of items on the menu youve ever seen, but as soon as you get inside you just see displays of lettuce everythere veing conveyor belted directly to every table on dishes, you sit down and the waiter asks for your order, he hands you the menu to look through as soon as you pick anything that isnt lettuce he takes the menu away and gives you a completely different menu, this happens repeatedly, you decide you dont want to eat here but they all the chefs come out and body block you from leaving your seat saying they recommend the lettuce in their own ways, staying their giving you their opinions on the lettuce until you give in and order the lettuce, they set the table nicely, decorations fit for a queen, 14 different types of cutlery, and then you hear the low rumble from the conveyor belt, your eyes follow it to its origin and an angry chef does his work at the other end, you recognise him from tv, hes a world famous chef who cooks anything perfectly, he grabs a whole lettuce in one hand and shoves it into a paper shredder atop a golden rimmed plate, he then tidies the dish of lettuce up and smiles proudly at his creation before placing it on the conveyor belt, the low bussing rumbling as the lettuce slowly makes its way towards you, the belt clumsily nudging it infront of you

1:17:30 the time it takes to consume food starts when the first customer gets their dish. I had one run in which customers have a really long serving time. It was possible with a table of two customers that one had already eaten their dish and left an empty plate, while the other one still needed to have their food. Which was actually pretty bad cause the dirty dish is on the table and difficult to take it off at that time..

Such a different PlateUp! experience watching the automated madness that is this haha. So interesting to watch. Thanks for the great video.

Yeah as a main channel viewer, sometimes I forget that behind the uber-troll, Ped has Terraria roots (another game with crazy automated contraptions). He really pushes the limits in games like these.

37:00 why not take charming to lvl 3 perk? If you do so, then customers will sit at tables where the leaves are already served!
@krissybaglin92062 жыл бұрын
They'd still have to take the dirty plates off the table, and also needed to get rid of people way faster. This build was SOLELY designed to be played in overtime and will just get far more so the more mains they get as peds franchise run goes further

This isn't two chefs manning a wildly successful restaurant. These are two engineers and psychologists manipulating their customers into becoming a pack of pitiful herbivores as their lean mean green machine churns out sad piles of leaves for them to munch on.

If ped used normal grabbers instead of smart grabbers for the dirty plates or added another line of tables he could of automated the cutlrey and it would be a Plateup ASMR stream with lewies being the human autoclicker in the corner there

I’m relatively new to the game. Could someone explain what is serving the customers? There are no conveyors leading salads to the tables
@Odyanii2 жыл бұрын
Customers will grab their order off a conveyor if it is adjacent to the table, sort of like a sushi conveyor restaurant. I think it specifically needs to be next to the part of the table that has the number displayed over it during preparation mode, but I could be wrong on that.

display stands+ the reorder machine are op they really should put a limit on them like the whole point of franchise is the challenge of making tons of different recipes and display stand at this volume completely break the idea of the challenge of a franchise
