Tbf, while some of them may be true, some of them are also stories that may secretly not true or they over-embelish things for entertainment purposes. I love Mr. Nightmare stories, but it's important to keep in mind most of them may have come from Reddit where people have been known to over-embelish in their narratives. Save for some exceptions, like how Reddit has thankfully been instrumental in helping IRL abusive "schools" and establishments get shut down for good.

The second story really got me. I used to live in a similar sort of place, deep in the woods with little outside contact (neighbors, shops, etc). At the time I had some undiagnosed mental issues, and would regularly stay up for weeks on end. I developed insomnia after my nightmares got so bad that I stopped sleeping, and made myself so paranoid that I stopped looking out windows at night altogether because I thought I would see something looking back at me. I can’t imagine how scary that must have been for those girls.

That's you though. These were young boys who thought they would be fine, because the guy was obviously gone. I once took a short cut home on a bike trail after finishing work late because I didn't believe the overhyped stories of gangs of kids who would beat me up for fun. Good thing for me I was tough (strong physically I mean) and when on this night I saw what, I think was 4 guys walking towards me asking me for a cigarette, I just lowered my head and ran towards them. They didn't expect it, probably because no one had done that to them before, or because what they really wanted was a cigarette and they weren't gonna hurt me. But I didn't stick around long enough to find out. I just ran towards them, and I stuck out both my elbows when I was close enough to them and actually knocked two of them to the ground, and ran the rest of the way home. In hindsight, since they were easily knocked down, and the fact that they didn't give chase, it makes me think they really didn't have any malicious intent. But I didn't know that then. And you see, I still used that short cut after that night because it was much faster, and it had only happened once out of all the times I did use it, so I thought I was good for a while instead of thinking that they may be waiting for me next time I walked through there.

That Sebastian guy in the last story definitely has narcissistic traits. His mask slid off when he started failing in picking up girls and then the author of the story and his brother easily got the numbers of those girls. That was definitely a trigger for poor little Sebastian. He sounds extremely sensitive and it didn’t surprise me at the end when he ended up transferring to another company. @@virt7al Yeah, more or less safety in numbers. When there are others with you, people are less likely to attack you, or if they do you can all fight back. A darker, more "selfish" side of that would be that there's less of a chance that the threat would take/attack you because there are other options that might distract him/her from you. Also, when in a large group, if you begin to feel unsafe, try to center yourself in the group so any potential threats can't see you as well.

The first story sounded like a fun idea for the kids for a sleepover but once there was an unidentified creep nearby. They should've never gone back to their tents after one of the parents told them they should sleep inside the house. Sometimes kids can be really dumb and they should listen to their parents. The second story sounded like it would be peaceful to live in an area like that but even living out in the countryside has its dangers. The kids should've never gone on that hike and when they had that encounter. They should've told their parents the second they got back to the house and not wait till something worse almost happened and one of them shouldn't have gone outside when they couldn't sleep. But I'm glad that her parents and the parents of her friends got informed once the crazy guy left when they screamed. Good thing the cops eventually caught that maniac. The third story tells me if someone brags about all sorts of cool things they did or their life. It's probably lies and you shouldn't hang out with them when off work. I don't know if this person is bipolar or not but whatever this guy has. I think going through therapy might be something to try out. Where I work. Years ago we had a new worker at my job and he seemed quiet at first but after a few weeks of working there. He was able to talk to his coworkers but for some reason he wanted spend all his time with me once I asked one of the coworkers his name because I just wanted to know whose who so I know who they are when talking to them. This coworker was always asking me personal questions like where I live, if I worked a second job, he would get nosy and be looking at my work hours and asking me why I only work so many days an hour and if I wanted to go to a wedding he was invited to. I had zero interest in doing anything with him after work because I didn't like hanging out with coworkers after work because I wasn't the type to go out partying. Then this coworker began to try and make things hard for me like he wouldn't listen to me when I told him how we did this and that at work, he talked normally around everyone to make me look crazy and he behaved like a bully around me. Our boss at the time told me all we've done is complain a lot about each other so that told me that my coworker was spreading lies and slander about me to him. This coworker even told a lie that no one would believe when I was using the bathroom and he claimed to have turned the lights off and on by accident with his elbow while he was drying his hands after washing them. He kept asking me why I don't want to hang out with him or why I didn't want to be his friend when after everything he was doing to me or around me. He was obviously a drug head or having a mental issue. Then one day. I found out he got fired when one of my coworkers told me he got fired for refusing to do his job and he got fired on the spot. While I was relieved. I found out this former coworker of mine got arrested for attempt of murder to his grandmother which of course we don't know if they'll let him go or place him in prison once his trial comes along. But we found out this guy has been arrested twelve times for crimes of anything drug and theft related and crimes of violence. He admitted to being schizophrenic but with all the lies he told. Who knows if that was the truth or a lie. I haven't seen him since but all I can say is good riddance to that psycho coworker of mine who just saw me as another potential victim.

What really gets me in all this is that on top of how bad all their decisions were, the girl's friend didn't even listen to her. She was like "I can't see him now so he doesn't exist because it's not like people can duck or hide behind things, you pranked me!" It's insane.
@brocksampson3405 Жыл бұрын
@@WynneL I agree. I mean it's one thing for teens to prank each other or others for a laugh like hiding in a room and jumping out at them and saying something to jumpscare them but when a friend is trying to tell another that a maniac they encountered again is outside their window and they should tell their parents and call the cops but their friend doesn't believe them under the impression that they think it's a prank. That's why kids and teenagers should listen to their parents or each other or at least hear each other out.

I once fired a round at an intruder at my nieces sleepover. They were in the living room and I was upstairs exercising, and to make a long story short, the intruder threw a brick through the living room window. My niece and her friends ran to my room to say that someone broke the living room window. I grabbed my .9mm, ran downstairs, and shot at the intruder. I thought of chasing him down, but I thought that the intruder had a buddy who would enter the house, so I stayed with my nieces until the police arrived.

that's smart. because once the threat is running away they are no longer a "threat" in the law's eyes. and if u shot him as he was retreating and he got injured or died u could have gotten arrested. maybe even charged with murder. i learned that from the movie FELON. once the perp is leaving. let him go.

Mr Nightmare is my new number 1 for all sorts of mysterious, horrific paranormal etc 💙 But last night out I was fishing by myself in the middle of the bush took me an hour to walk in down these huge cliffs. I was chasing big boss mulloway. Well I thought I'd take 10 beers down and stay the night hoping to land a boss. I put MR Nightmare on.. there was me and my headlight.. I scared myself absolutely shitless.. never again will I listen to MR Nightmare while I'm fishing alone on a cliff at night time. 🤦🤣🤣 This channel rocks.. keep them coming.... In the daytime 💙
