@@Zahra-yv3yv yes absolutely. Each type of paper comes with it's own charm. If you have only just begun, a cheap watercolor album can be used. If it's for sketching try to make sure the paper is not too thin or slippery.

Beginner over here and your flower tutorial was my first project to turn out beautifully! In 15 min or less, it was done and so fun! Just before that, I tried someone's else's beginner tutorial that was lengthy and my results were not impressive. Thanks, I will be making more flowers!

SunWatch165 -A long time ago a friend commented about the way I talked about myself. She said I often made negative remarks about myself and my abilities. She challenged me to “not say anything about myself I wouldn’t say about my best friend.” I realize, as a mom and a teacher, I was modeling a behavior I didn’t want any child to adopt. I started telling my kids about my new rule. I used it in so many I heard my students say it to each other. They told their parents. It spread and my students as well as my own children started to try new things without talking about the things they couldn’t do. I just wanted to share that with you. I loved that you could see your success. You obviously don’t lack in talent. You may have finally met the person who addressed painting they way you learn it. I’m also betting your painting is one of the gifts your mother will treasure.
