Wanted to share, some I added toasted almonds slivered and coconut looked like snow! some friends dont care for cranberries I substituted with raisins so many variations. Did some white chocolate first then topped with dark! Tip ran out of parchment paper, so I used plastic wrap, worked great with no need to grease either. Awesome family cooking project, with the grandkids and hubby even joined in the fun! LOL Happy Holidays!

Everything looks great, but might I offer a couple tips from a professional candy maker? If your chocolates are a bit too thick it is best to use paramount crystals, or shortening. The reason being, paramount crystals and shortening get hard when cooled like chocolates, so they don't effect the texture of the hardened chocolate. However, the veggie oil will effect how solid the chocolate gets when cooled. So if too much oil is added to the chocolate it may not become solid and/or it may melt too easily when touched and smear in the bag. Also, unless you like your chocolate to taste like olives, I suggest you don't use olive oil for the same issues mentioned. Merry Christmas all! Take care, Dee😊👍🎄

I always use coconut oil in my melted chocolates. Also, I make similar Oreo pops with the double stuff but I don’t pop them apart, I just push the sucker stick into the frosting-easier & less risk of breaking the cookie.😉✌🏻

I'd like to know what kind of chocolate you are using that does not need to be tampered. Other wise when your treats come back to room temp the chocolate will be come a melted sloppy mess.
@SharonBeMakinStuff4 жыл бұрын
I just used Chipits chocolate chips. The treats were able to stay in room temperature and did not melt. They just didn't have the shine and the snap like properly tempered chocolate does.
