Only 1 O-ring ? No wonder the socks are leaking. A few other reviewers had the same leaks. Glad you found the issue though.

Thanks for the tip on the shocks. Only about 30 minutes of run time total on mine and 3 out 4 shocks have leaked down. Also had the joy of rear end locking up and back half of drive shaft falling out. No parts were lost or damaged and Loctite is now on the pinion gear retaining screw.

Great little tips! This car's a beautiful beast! Now there's a mod I'm dying to find if it's "possible" or not... Do you know if, like other brands, Rlaarlo has hidden a regular Jeep grill under that ugly angry face?? That would make this rig even more interesting! I really enjoyed your running video, driving and filming up that mountain must have been a handful!! Big effort! 💪👏👏👏 I'm rooting for Rlaarlo, they've been releasing some very interesting RCs. I do hope they overcome the problems they had in the past and conquer a spot in the market.
@RC-Expats-HK5 ай бұрын
@@just.jose.youtube that’s again! I really think Rlaarlo are taken in all the comments and suggestions received and will continue to improve. As for the grill of the Mk07 i think it’s a single piece, so unsure of any removal pieces to reduce the angry eyes. Yes that mountain was indeed tough on the mk07 and myself. Thank you so much for watching and supporting. I really appreciate it.

@@RC-Expats-HK (about the grill: Yikong (whose models are rebranded by Absima here in Europe) has a similar Jeep model on a 1/10 and 1/8 scale (Yikong 4102 and 4082 I believe) with the same ugly angry faces. 😛 I have the 1/10 version and, under the angry grill mask, which is supported from the back by two screws, the lexan body has a vertically slotted, beautiful, Jeep-like grill. 😁)

Thoughts on putting in a 4s brushed esc on this? Exocagged made it look like 4s was a sweet spot

Most shocks especially crawler have 2 o-rings. A single o-ring is going to leak very easily. Not surprising at all that your shocks leaked.

What can I do to make its center of gravity even close to the ground? I want it to be used for rock crawling
@RC-Expats-HK6 ай бұрын
There’s plenty of brass weight options that can be added. Wheel weights, portal covers , bumper mounts etc. All will add weight low down improving handling and lowering c.o.g. They can be purchased on the Rlaarlo website .

Hello, my vehicle is mk07, how many cst of oil do I need to add and how many ml of oil do I need in total? I would appreciate it if you could give me a link.
@RC-Expats-HKАй бұрын
@@fikretmetin2027 I personally use 700cst on mine for crawling. But play around with any around these weight to your own preference. One normal sized bottle is more than enough for all 4 shocks. No brand in particular to recommend you can just use whatever you local hobby shop has in stock. Enjoy your truck !

@@chileungchow125 you should be able to get one from any of your local hobby store or online. You will need Mod 1 8mm bore pinion with whatever tooth count you want.

The ess one or ess dual can be fitted. There is space to mount it and make it work.

What weight shock oil did ya end up using? AlSo link to orings?
@RC-Expats-HK7 ай бұрын
I ended up using a 400 shock oil. Any P5 o ring will work. You will find you can only fit one into the space. X-ring although technically better is too small and there’s no compression to fill the gap. Hence leaks. Try this one: www.amainhobbies.com/hb-racing-oring-p5-black-4-hbs66595/p6805
