What I learned about this KZbinr: -He loves to walk his dog -He likes to lower his gpu temps -He loves to walk his dog Oh and I forgot, he also loves to walk his dog
@AlexarionBeatbox2 жыл бұрын
Easy tip for everybody. No need to open or change anything in your pc. When opening a game, limit the fps to 60 or lower instead of letting your pc go up to 100 and more fps. If you don't have a 144 hertz monitor you don't need those fps, it's like having lost fps in exchange of making your gpu work more. Now if you do have a 144 hertz monitor you have to decide, what do you prefer. 144 fps or having lower temps on your gpu? Your choice. Another way of doing this is by activating v-sync or if the game doesn't let you limit fps. Go to your nvidia panel or amd panel and in 3d settings, choose the application you want to limit is framerate. There are lots of videos on how to do that if you don't know how.

If you can do all these things like adding new thermal paste, maybe an exhaust fan as well, I know some pc's do not have them which is a little strange, you should get a lot lower temps. Also, go into your pc's control panel and make some adjustments there in the global settings and you should be straight.

Eighties are actually acceptable temperatures. I have a RX580 always hitting 80-90C when playing a high end game. I had this GPU for over 3 years without any issues. I do wonder why its so high because my old GPU's used to max out around 80-85. I guess it really depends on the manufacturer. I have the AMD's own version of the RX580 . AMD had said that temperatures up to 95 are perfectly safe and I noticed that the fans do really kick in if the temps get too hot. Of course I can increase my fans with Afterburner if I see it constantly hit 90+ but so far it never went over 90C.
@drakyrra44433 жыл бұрын
Hey dude , Eighties are acceptable even if it's a constant temperature for the GPU when you running a game like Evil Within? Because mine is always between 80 and 85°C , it's a rtx 2070 super winforce 3x oc from gigabyte and I bought it since september , so like 6 months ago

@drakyrra44432 жыл бұрын
@@santiagonas7052 Hey , didn't manage to lower the temp yet, maybe in the future I will add 2 more fans up in my case and see if this help or not, if it's not maybe the airflow in my case is too bad (Zalman R2) so maybe aim to a bigger case with more flexible options of airflow, but these times I don't have access to my pc because I'm waiting for moving in a new apartment maybe next month I can check on that. In fact, you will need to optimize your aiflow with more fans, maybe a watercooling custom on a gpu but pretty difficult if you don't have knowledge to built one correctly, or like me a newer case with more space in so the air will be more comfortable for your gpu.

best video card for your money ever was the Radeon R7 350x. It STILL can play games like COD WWII and Saint Row 3/4 , Bioshock infinite and remastered etc etc etc at 1080p with everything at high BUT the card runs at 90C while doing so. I played bioshock infinite at max at 1080p for 5 hours and the temperature AVG was 83c with a max of 93C. This 350x 4gb is like 10 years old and it's low profile + you don't need to plug it in your power supply, you can buy a 59$ computer and play most games made before 2018
