Yeah this series and the wheel of yugioh series really showed me that sam has really subpar deck building skills and 0 creativity in deck building, never forget he had someone build his pendulum deck for him... Seereax might not be the best at understanding new decks but at least he creates his own decks and reads the cards and tries to make interesting decisions for cards. His first time playing swordsoul he didnt do bad and he built the deck himself, if sam spun that swordsoul deck it wouldve just been card for card off of master duel meta or ygoprodeck

Sam really needs to iron out these rules and follow them. Use cards related to the deck and yugi. Sam: uses supply squad, soul exchange, other cards that were used by marik for god support, but you don't need them. Summoned skull using archfiends works, general fiend support fair, the general ritual search just to boost the odds of bringing out the ritual variant. Yes he uses outside cards b/c how else does he bring out the synchro? Also they only have that purpose. I'm more impressed by the summoned skull deck.
