My dog awakened me at 5:30ish this morning. I let her out and made me a pot of coffee. Turned on KZbin and found your next video. What a great way to start the day! Hot coffee and the wander women! I smiled through the whole thing! Thanks for sharing! ✌🏼🤟🏼🚴🏼♀️

I live along the Hudson Valley Rail Trail just east of New Paltz. I’ve ridden only as far as Hopewell Junction. I always have wondered what would happen, if I just kept going. Glad you enjoyed it. PS, you not only passed about 50 yards from where I live near New Paltz, you also rode right by the building where I work in lower Manhattan. You have great video of the passing. I should have expected that, I can see the trail from my office.

Wow! What a finale! The Big Apple 🍎😄. So. Many. People! Beautiful and fascinating and exciting, but what a shock to the system after days of quiet trail riding. 😆. Can’t wait to see how the train ride went and what adventures await in DC! Thanks so, so much for taking us along. 🙏💗

So fun to see you in NYC after all these years when it seemed you were always surrounded by mountains and vistas. You ended up in Battery Park and I could see where my father's fireboat, Marine Co. 1, was stationed back in the 1970's. You have definitely inspired me with this trip.

Amazing video! You made it to the Big Apple! I'm a biker and have biked several hundred miles at a time, but I dont think I could bike thru NYC. Too nerve-wracking for me, but it was beautiful, especially at night. I lived in Upstate NY for a few years and drove into the City once, thru Bronx and Queens, over the George Washington Bridge, down 5th Ave, Radio City Music Hall, past Central Park, and thru Manhattan. It was Christmas time and 5th Ave had Christmas trees all down the avenue all lit up. It was a beautiful drive, but the traffic was something else. You guys met so many nice people on this trail who were so nice to give you lodging, meals and general kindness. Beautiful scenery along the way. An exceptional video and exceptional adventure! Will look forward to your DC video! Take care.

This was a great trip to follow along, I can only imagine the fun you had along the way, it looked beautiful. I love NYC, I've been a few times and each visit it's just a little bit less intimidating 🤣 you're lucky to have each other to spend the night in the train station together. I once spent the night in the Buffalo bus station, solo! And let me tell you I got no rest! 😳 but it was an adventure and I lived to tell the tale! Enjoy New York!

Recently found your channel and have been enjoying your adventures. When you came through Washington State on the Great American Rails to Trails Adventure, you met a friend of mine, Kim, in Ellensburg. She is the one that told me about you gals. Just finished watching episode three of your Empire Trail bike ride. Absolutely beautiful scenery and quaint little towns. I did wonder though when you arrived in New York City and were making your way to Battery Park, it appeared you were riding through red lights & stop signs. Can you explain the traffic signal rules for biking in New York City please. Again, congratulations. 🎉 Donna

I just finished Syracuse to Albany on the Erie Canal rail trail with 3 friends. Amazing ride on the trails with such kindness all around. The hardest part for me was the pedestrian bridge in Albany to get to the train station where we left our cars….. did you go over that… I’ll be honest I had to walk that one…LOL

I wrote down the name of the inn. Hope everyone does. If you are ever in the area please support Tim for what he did for our favorite girls. It looked beautiful. I love how the North preserves all their buildings instead of tearing them down for modern glass and metal. Oh WOW, Hopewell Junction is where my Uncle lived and died and many of my ancestors are in that area as well. Oh, I wish you had filmed some of Brewster too. This has to be my fave of all your videos of all time. I have been meaning to ask with all the altitude changes how is Kristy's heart rate doing?

You guys there's a bike trail (16+mile loop,)that goes all around Manhattan Island. 2 blocks from train station (Grand Central Station)get on..ride past floating bodies ( only kidding) East river , Ferry, you could throw a stone to NJ go to benches across water from Statue of Liberty swing around Wall St., all the museum's, famous piers on Hudson can get off anytime, streets right there Easy squeezy. BUT bring 2 locks to lock up,1 to lock both wheels to frame, one lock to lock bike to pole, rack, fence wherever. Don't leave anything on bike (computer, lights ) I used to bring bike on train from CT and ride. Have to go a million times to know it well. Good Luck

I just did this portion of the ride from Albany to NYC and wondered why you didn't complain about the Kingston-Rhinecliff Bridge which was hella scary. Then I saw that you went on the protected pedestrian part rather than the bicycle lane on the north part of the bridge. I don't know how you crossed over to the the correct side of the road after you crossed the bridge unless you rode against traffic for a while. That was not a very safe or pleasant section at all. 1.5 miles of bridge riding on a narrow bike lane with grates every 20 ft that took up 80% of the lane.
