I'm self taught and only recently started to make real progress with hand independence. As a long time guitarist I know I'll get there. These exercises will definitely help....thx.

Merci beaucoup. Great exercises. I didn't have a problem with strength in the 3,4,5 fingers since I had used them treating patients with shoulder problems. Massaging muscles (especially the subscapularis) developed my finger strength. But getting the coordination was a challenge. I also use a technique to make sure that the fingers have strength, especially the 5th. I will have a video out soon showing self-treatments a pianist can do to make sure that they are biomechanically sound. Stay tuned.

Thank you for these excellent learning videos !! Simple and easy to follow without alot of mumbo jumbo.... I have experience with stringed instruments, notes, chord progression, etc, and I have made great progress in 6 months with your videos for strengthening weak fingers and arpeggios. I now can compose quite a few melodies that my wife doesn't mind me practicing over and over again...LOL

When you are playing the G7 chord, it looks like you’re only playing three notes- shouldn’t it be four (G, B, D, F)? I just started trying to learn seventh chords.

hello! so first of all thank u so much for the free lessons, unfortunately as a uni student i don’t have that much time to practice and am also self taught. the fact is that i stress over exams so much that i can barely sit at the piano for more than an hour and practice.. and i feel so bad because i want to progress but without practice that’d be impossible🥹
@MangoldProject2 жыл бұрын
The last thing you want to do is feel guilty. You don't "owe" practice to anyone, not even to yourself. That being said, if you can practice for an hour that's amazing! You're FAR ahead of the curve compared to almost all other piano students out there. You can get very far if you keep it up!
