Oh, I love all this. This is all perfect and I’m so glad your dogs not perfect cause some trainers only show perfect stuff but I do have a question. Do you have a dog to show that has never done this and you could teach it thanks a lot. Keep up the good work.

His method is most likely free shaping which is when you reward the dog for being around the object until it touches it then you reward it heavily until they start to understand

My poor border collie. We taught him at a young age to play a "find it" game. I was watching this late at night. As soon as the FIND command came on. He woke up and started trying to find something. He wasn't sure what he was looking for but he was going to find it. 😂

Also, what type of ecology do you have on? It does not look like a mini educator which a lot of people use

Yes it is not a mini educator, it’s a DogTra ARC with a comfort pad contact point, depending on your dog I would say to start with a DogTra 280C
