Bro I remember I got jumped in front of the towers 😂, only memory I have but It made me realize at a young age life isn’t easy. I passed by there in 2015 and it looked nice. Good video btw

That’s definitely a story to remember lol. But glad you think it’s nice now. Definitely much safer when Regina King announced award winners at the NAACP Awards last weekend lol

I went there while visiting my son in 2009. Seriously one of the most beautiful places I've ever been. Would love to go back someday.

Interesting. Definitely iconic. Never seen them before despite my family having deep LA roots since the 40s.

Same here. I actually saw them for the first time when I shot this video. I’ve heard about them, but never actually went down to see them. But it puts the entire history into perspective.

The ending fight scene in Ricochet (1991) was filmed at Watts Towers. Although I'm still trying to do comparisons between the towers then and now. Also (spoiler alert) looking out for the spike Blake gets impaled onto.

I wonder if Simon and Grandma Prisbrey ever hooked up... Sad what has happened to Bottle Village.

Noah told me he worked on the Watts Towers, and if this is true, why isn't he mentioned?
