Impossible to save without baptism. 1Pet.3:21 even baptism doth also now save us. Acts 2:38 Peter tells those who crucified Christ to repent and be baptized in name of Jesus for remission of sin. Ethiopian eunuch baptized in Acts 8, Cornelius centurion baptized in Acts 10, Paul baptiz d in Acts 9:18, jailer of Paul and Silas and his family baptized Acts 16:23 Isaiah 59:2 your sins have separated you and your God and hid his face from you and He will not hear you. Acts 22:16 baptism brings contact with Christi’s blood washing away sin. Romans 6:4 buried by baptism into his death. Not legalism but important command.

@ You are right in what you say but need to add baptism. Read James second chapter. James 2:17 says Faith without works is dead being alone. Romans 6:3 says we are baptized into Christ’s death which brings us in contact with his blood which remits our sins. Isaiah 59::2 says But your iniquities have separated between you and your God and your sins have hid his face from you that He will not hear. Baptism into Christ’s death takes away our sins and gives us access to God. If you say baptism does not save us you conflict with divinely inspired words of 1Peter 3:15 “even baptism does now save us” Roman’s 3:4 says Let God be true and every man a liar. See Acts 2:38 where Peter in 33AD preached first gospel sermon in Jerusalem 50 days after Christ’s crucifixion and told the Jews who had crucified Christ to repent and be baptized in Jesus name for remission of sins and 3000 Jews were baptized that day which created Church of Christ in Jerusalem which the apostles spread all over the known world. Jesus who knew no sun was also baptized by John as an example for us. The church eventually was spread to the America’s also. There are many especially in southern United States. See Romans 16:16. Hebrews 11:6 says God will reward those who diligent seek him like you are doing. The best Church of Christ web site I know of is: La Vista Church of Christ.org. What amazes me is how some of the most profound videos projects false images of Christ. Ignoring the Commandment of doing so. This sin causes confusion. Giving Jesus an image is not faith but a lie. I don't need to know what He looks like because when He comes I will know Him. Therefore I reject this common practice and suspect its purpose.

Works is what comes from God's love & grace for sure... But we must DO these good works and not sit still with the notion that we are great and good and all saved and we're all going to heaven!... We cannot simply say I love him or I love her and do nothing of love to show that person or God this love. We cannot say to a homeless person, I wish you well, (if we have the means) I hope you eat well today. We must give them a meal, we must clothe the naked, we must care for those that canot care for themselves. We must speak up for those that cannot speak. We must protect the weak and innocent. And if we do not do these works, we will answer in the final Judgement. And there will be Judgements.

Baptism doesn't save you or only "symbolize" that you're buried witb Christ. It washes away sin. So that you can begin your life in Christ as a new creation. Baptism is for the remission of sin. It takes away guilt and shame from our pasts. Jesus was baptized to receive the holy spirit, although he was blameless. If it's good enough for Jesus, it's good enough for me.

Legalism or following the Law is not false teaching... In the Sermon on the Mount Jesus explains that he has “not come to abolish the law, but to fulfill” (v. 17), and that “until heaven and earth pass away, not one letter, not one stroke of a letter, will pass from the law until all is accomplished” (v. 18). Jesus also states that lawbreakers (such as he is accused of being) “will be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does them and teaches them (the commandments of the law) will be called great in the kingdom of heaven”

Teaching of False Teachers on Baptism: Baptism is not required for salvation. Teaching of Scripture on Baptism: Jesus answered, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God." (John 3:5, ESV). Born of water and the Spirit refers to Baptism. "Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved..." (Mark 16:16, NIV) "Corresponding to that, baptism now saves you -- not the removal of dirt from the flesh, but an appeal to God for a good conscience -- through the resurrection of Jesus Christ" (1 Peter 3:21, NASB).

What Matthew 28:19-20 says is: "19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, to the close of the age.”" So Jesus DOES tell them to Baptize the people. So you are falsely teaching that as well.
