A cool idea for the Lightning item is choose an item with 1 word in it like grass or candle or something, replace all "lightning" with the item you chose and add another chain command block saying: /give (your name) (the item you chose)

@@arandomyoutuber7869 best way is build one with black concrete, save it in a structure block, and then use a /structure load command to spawn it. You can erase it with a /fill command after.

Is there any way to put a timer in between each use? Ie. After using the lighting you can't use another one for 5 seconds.

First yeah, you could save the wand in a structure block and only keep one on you. Once you drop it you can delay the command to load the replacement. Second, this is an outdated build. That means that @e shouldn't be in that spot. You probably made an error just before the @e. Syntax errors mean the format is wrong.

Sorry I missed your comment. You'd use the tag command to give the entities the tag like: /tag @e[type=sheep,r=4] add monkey would tag all sheep within 4 blocks as monkey. Then when looking for the tag in the execute command you'd use tag=monkey in the square brackets.

@@potatomanstem4731 command blocks tell you if they ran successfully or if they had errors. What do your command blocks say? Syntax errors mean you typed it wrong. If there is only a dash you don't have command blocks enabled likely. These ALL work. These are very simple commands.
