Hi mam actually i have a one doubt it mabe silly but i searche Google and other online flat froms . i didn't get the answer so iam asking you . Why in any baking recipe flour ratio is high and other ingredients ratios are less .Like sugar , fats , and liquid ingredients are lesser than flour why mam can u pls explain i am searching about this topic for months?

If u add more sugar the cake will be sink, oil it will be into prices if we want to get the texture of the cake the ratio should be like that if baking soda high the cake taste be bitter
