Mama Mia X (my pretend wish she was ol lady when I was a teenager in New Orleans). I been a lifetime fan of hers since I was in high school in the mid 90s. The first time I heard her was in 1993 when she jumped on the remix of a song that a classmate that was in a local rap group made. She was one of the best on the No Limit Tank. She has had some health issues recently, but she seems to doin okay these day. She is the First Lady of our city. Great video.

Mia X is a living legend who was the First Lady of No Limit. She came from the older era of No Limit crew, so she was definitely a great MC before she retired from rapping. Queen Pen has definitely been forgotten from the hip hop community. She has worked with Blackstreet and some of the biggest names in hip hop before she disappeared for good. Sole was married to Ginuwine and she worked with JT Money on Who Dat. Other than that, she has been forgotten and people have forgotten she was a rapper.

And Sole seems like a stand up solid chick as well, but you don't group those 2 with an artist like MIA. I believe she wrote her own shit, she was a gangster and she was never even in the conversation for the worst verse on anything she did. She held her own with the fellas. Queen Pen spit a warm 4 on corny song, and Sole is knows being Ginuwines old lady. I feel like it's always album was one of those projects that we would see in the source or an XXL every now and then. Where we would skip straight past the page because I believe the artwork was a close-up of her face. She is not and ugly woman by any stretch of the imagination but she does not do it for me like she does for some. But neither one of us paid the project any mind because she wasn't showing any ass then after 2 years go by one day we finally stop and think hasens album coming out next month for the last 2 and 1/2 years? even though Master P took that marketing play straight from suges playbook to announce upcoming projects from other artis on the label inside the case for albums. The difference is that Suge teased the same 4 project and never deliver a one. and P' upcoming release looks like a major label's entire catalog over 60 years, P was dropping 12 album within whatever quarter it was at that time
