Many of these unknown or unheard of cases, were prior to the rise in social media. I am happy that these cases might continue their investigation now that our DNA technology is better and improving over time. Shame that we can't be safe even in a group.

I had no idea about these murders. I've been there a few times over the years and always felt a little "off" but I had no clue about these deaths having occurred there. However, now I know why my grandmother was always so weird about us kids going there. Thanks for another great video, Harmin! Let me know if you ever make it around Oakwood, Illinois. Good to see you back! I’ve watched a few TV shows that highlighted this case and it’s a weird one. Back in the late 50s and early 60s a triple homicide was very big news. Many unanswered questions about the circumstances of the attack just don’t make sense. I don’t know if they arrested the right person or not but the families of those poor ladies must have been devastated by such a brutal and senseless crime.

Thrilled to see another story from you! Such a beautiful place to have such a horrible event occur. DNA wasn’t available for forensic testing prior to the mid 1980’s, almost 25 years after this murder took place. Those of us with a little more “mileage” still remember what a breakthrough it was to have it available to solve crime.
@6Haunted-Days

And it really wasn’t even much available in the mid 80s so…..it was VERY in the beginning then. I’ve been obsessed with true crime since 1980 when I was 13 😂🤷🏼‍♀️ and yea …..it wasn’t a thing in investigations or anything really…..until the early 90s…..recall that even by 94 most the public didn’t kno what it was mostly…..etc…..

First of all, REALLY happy to have you back and that you will have more vids to come, really wish we could hit the like button more than once. I saw this story on a tv or something years ago, tragic and bizzare. With today's science they could tell if he was guilty or innocent, but 60 years ago was pretty primitive. Only he and the big man upstairs knows the truth and that trial will take place then.
