Sam Susans Studios one of my "friends" had an huge argument with her best friend (that girl was my friend too so we often did hang out together) and one day she told me that her other friend(the one she argued with) was on the first place of the list and since they arent talking she moved me to the first place ..so she was always calling me made me go everywhere with her , i had to solve her problems ...one they she stoped when i onced told her that i didnt had time to go out after that (a mit later) she started to talk to her other friend again and was completely ignoring me

Obviously having social anxiety can contribute to saying no to plans. (I do that all the time tbh) I think in that case you just have to be transparent with your friends, otherwise (unfortunately) they will think you don't want to spend time with them at all. - Sara

Exactly. My friend stole my crush and forced to be happy around them. They broke up 4 weeks after they were in a relationship(because of a stupid rumour). My friend also asks her other friends(including me) to buy a snack or a drink for her at lunch. When I reject her request, she asks me "are you my best friend?". I say yes because I don't want her to whine but guess what? She replied with "then buy me a drink or whatever if you're my true friend". I mean, THAT is not how "true friendships" work. But anyways, my crush(who I don't like now because he was with my friend) doesn't like my friend and only likes her as a friend. She flirts with him and he gets disgusted. It's funny to watch but that reminds how I had to feel when they were couples.

Also, a fourth type is someone who NEVER listens to your opinion. There was this girl I had become friends and whenever she was around me she would always be on her phone and only wanted to discuss her interests. If I talked about something I enjoyed (Anime, art, piano, etc) she would always whine about it or try to change the subject. When I tried addressing this to her she didn't take me seriously. That kind of relationship is super toxic and made me feel worthless and unheard. But I dealt with her for years because she was the only person I had.

I knew a girl like that. She would always come whining about the guys she apparently "loved", because they didn't like her back, and the reason for that was the fact that she fell in love with a new guy EVERY MONTH, so of course, guys think she'll cheat on them. And she basically did on all of themand then kept wondering why they left her. And I did comfort her, tried to give her advice. Now, when I had a hard time with parents, for example, or the time I was actually genuinely bullied in school. She wouldn't even try to make me feel better. Then she dissed me because I was "the self-centered one". Then a few months later I contacted her and we were "friends" again. Everything worked out perfectly fine until we went to the camp where she ignored me COMPLETELY. After that, I went on vacation and I would occasionally text her, and somewhere in september, she literally said that I was annoying, that I text her all the time. Is texting once in 3 days a lot? No. Anyway, she said a bunch of insults my way and then I decided that it was enough, I didn't need it. So... don't let people treat you that way.

One time I had a friend who had anxiety like I do. She never told me because she believed I would not see her the same way or that I would think differently of her. She always flaked on me until I finally talked to her and she started cryi and told me all about her anxiety and told me that she really really cares about me but she was way too scared she would do something stupid and ruin the Friendship. We had a long heart to heart as I told her about my anxiety and how I understand how but if she ever feels this way she can either come to me or consider finding a therapist. 6 years later and I have a beautiful best friend who I see as my soul sister and my dog.

I know how you feel. After a medical issue I had, all my 'friends' ditched me. No phone calls. No emails. Silence. They wouldn't pick up their phone when I called and didn't return texts. So, flash forward 3 years, and I have learned to be my own friend, accompanied by youtube :) It sucks, but after some time, I look back and see that they were toxic friendships. So, In Mid September, My 'Best Friend' Proved that She was a fake friend. Long story short: I was staying with her because My mom had to go on a Business trip and She decided to make my life a living hell by using my anxiety against me. So, After that, I was avoiding her. She was constantly getting people to come up to me & ask me why I was avoiding her. That, Caused me to have a huge Panic attack. And I avoided her for about a month. Then, I decided, Maybe we should makeup & stuff. So, After School, I talked to her. I told her what happened because of what she did to me, and I told her I forgave her. After that, she said 'Yea, But that's not important, I Got a A on my Math test'. That's when I realized I needed to leave her. That's why you should leave a Friend Who only cares about themselves.

E.g. imagine you were planning to see a film or something for _ages_ with them, and then they cancel last second with you to go see the exact same movie with someone else they like better. Typically making some really bad excuse instead of just telling you outright (or better yet, just going with all of you together to see the film). That's what she meant by flaky friend, so you wouldn't come under that. Your reason is genuine and you wouldn't be blowing them off for someone else.
