Your video on this LX450 helped me know it is the one I want to do a start up mill with. Today, I ordered the diesel LX450, with all the options except the light package.. I included the EZ200 edger with the gas motor and the best sharpener /setter Wood Mizer offers. They have a 52 week lead time before delivery which gives me time to have a 4000 square foot building built for it's home. Thank You for this video, it certainly helped me. RC

That awesome! you will really enjoy it. Very nice machine to bad it's 52 weeks. I was fortunate that mine was sitting at local Wood-mizer. Are you using a Wood-mizer Now? until the new one comes in. Good Luck and God Bless Joe & Amy

@@craftsmanshopswoodworking5197 Hi Joe & Amy, answer to your question is. I have never owned a saw mill or seen one of these mills running live. Only watched a bunch of videos. I think I will add the shaper molder or planner in the building and a outside dust building to blow the dust in. researching larger blowers now.. A hobby mill for my sons. Thanks again for your videos. Randy

One like his is going to be north of 75k new. I can get you the same exact setup he’s running with a few hundred hours for less than 55k

Is the diesel a more powerful setup than the gas. I love my diesel truck but I see the HP is lesser for diesel. Not knowing about translation to output with a sawmill?

This is diesel 40 hp, much more power than gas engines on this mill. They do offer as base model gas motor but recommend diesel. Thanks Joe
