Very nice! I just did a reading comprehension video in response for a worked example and extra tips.

At the test center, you will receive a noteboard and felt pen to take notes, solve equations, etc. See goo.gl/images/p9arYM

From the ETS website (www.ets.org/gre/revised_general/test_day/test_center/during): The test administrator will provide you with scratch paper for use during the test only. If you use all of it, you can return it to the test center to receive more. You must return all scratch paper in its entirety to the test center administrator at the end of the testing session. The test center will supply the pen/pencil. I hope that helps.

Isn't it too time consuming?

Taking notes does not mean taking TONS of notes. You should identify and summarize: - the theme of each paragraph (4 to 8 words) - conflicting points of view (4 to 8 words) - main idea (4 to 8 words) So, we're talking about 20 to 30 words altogether (and you can use shorthand and acronyms to use fewer words). If you take good notes, you won't have to go back and re-read the passage. More importantly, when you're looking for specific pieces of information to summarize, you will better engage with the passage (which is a HUGE factor in RC success). Cheers, Brent

But isn't 2.5 mins a lot. Will i get enough time for other Verbal question? How many RC come on an average in the Verbal Section?
@instalocktaka37128 жыл бұрын
+Rohan Sood Save RC for the end. After you finish RC then review questions you haven't answered throughout the section.
