Wanted to tell you thank you. Awesome videos. My son's team used the goalie drill and they loved it. We saw instant improvement. The kids were competitive and didn't want anything to get through. Great job coach.

Thanks, my son just turned 8, hell of an outfielder in Allstars and travel ball, but now we are back to park ball he has to be my shortstop. Good with stopping ground balls, but im a football coach, so I don’t pretend to know all the baseball fundies! Will def use these

Unsolicited advice, so take it FWIW. Other than basic hitting mechanics, one of the most important things hitters can learn is to “turn the page.” Have a short memory. It’s definitely a challenging thing for the human psyche, but if your child is thinking about previous at bats it’s hard for him to focus on his current AB. Once he manages to slap one out there he will have fun again & confidence will soar.

I played OF throughout HS and College, so I wasn't trained or taught how to play IF. However, my 6yr old son will benefit from me watching your video and doing these drills with him as he develops his skills. Thanks for taking the time and going to a baseball field and teaching everyone.

Great video and great drills. My 12-yr old is still stopping to pick up ground balls and trying to get him to "move through the baseball" as he's making plays... the cones drill will help. Also, I agree with you just doing simple hand drills with the baseball just gets them more comfortable...

Not sure if you have done a video on this but how about one on proper foot and body positioning when receiving throws at 2nd or 3rd from different positions where a tag would need to be applied.

Thanks for the drills, I will definitely use these to get better at third base. Do you have any other drills for third base?

hey justin, nice video, just curious, the right left tap tap seems like it would create a bad habit of flipping glove and showing backside of glove during fielding approach,, have u had any problems with this creating a bad habit in younger players, thanks

I'm 13 and around this age is when pitching starts to speed up. Do you have any advice on how I can be more comfortable at the plate with a fast pitcher. Thanks!
@UltimateBaseballTraining8 жыл бұрын
+Cameron O'Connell Just slow everything down and start earlier! The pitcher supplies the power, not you. Don't try to speed up and swing harder just because he throws hard. Relax, start sooner!

Take the L screen on a field and step closer to homeplate. then have someone pitch closer and this will help your reaction.

what is the easiest position on the field? I'm trying out this year and barley have any experience but I'm wondering what position I should play. I was thinking of second base
@UltimateBaseballTraining8 жыл бұрын
+alberto adam Honestly none of them are "easy" as you progress through the levels of baseball, but outfield might be your best bet. Outfielders don't get as many balls hit their way as infielders do
