😭 feels likey Redlegs haven't been in a world series for 67 yrs either!! 😭 I do still have very fond memories of watching the 1990 team go wire to wire and sweep the World Series with my pops!! Today would have been his 64th birthday, sadly he passed in 2018, 😞 I still carry on both of our love for the Mountaineers and Reds, he loved them both as much as I do! I miss getting excited about the games with him, I miss watching the games with him, win or lose... I guess I just all around miss him! Another great show gentlemen, I look forward to Sunday's show, and hope we are all celebrating a Mountaineer victory together! I still hold hope that the team will get it together and have another 9 win season, though I know that's gonna be a tough road!! And I'm not blind, I can see there needs to be some changes! I hope they are able to make the correct ones!! Happy birthday once again, Dad! I love you and miss you so much everyday!! 😢 LET'S GOOOOO MOUNTAINEERS 👏👏🏈🇺🇸 🏈BEAT ARIZONA!!! 🏈

I looked at the ESPN top 300 recruits. We don't have ONE recruit on that list. Not ONE.

Bottom line Brad, when we cant run it is painfully difficult to gain yards or score. The teams that beat us dont seem to have too much trouble making that adjustment. Hell, I could throw for 200 against our D COOORDINATOR!

This will be a big prime-time road loss, at least for people watching in the eastern time zone.

Tony, I agree with you on who is going to have the big bucks to compete. I do NOT see WVU having the ability to compete at the power 4 level. WVU just can't afford it. I want a Porsche, but I cannot afford it right now. People want wins and I believe they don't care at what level, although we'd love to compete for a national championship again. The landscape today just doesn't allow for it! Maybe it's time for the university to simply go back to being a big fish in a small pond, i.e. Sun Belt, Conference USA, whatever lower level, less expensive conference that's available.

Tony is undermining his own credibility by ignoring the obvious issue: the program is off track due to poor coaching and management. The decline in the football program, paired with Tony's failure to address the root causes, just does not justify the 'ad load' for this podcast. Until we see meaningful changes in leadership, I’m signing off. ✌PEACE

So he’s supposed to criticize his own program which he’s worked for 27 years and covered 13 before that?
@evanoffm3 ай бұрын
@@josephwright1519 It is important for broadcasters to discuss coaching issues honestly, especially when they have such a long history with the program - that was, afterall, the impetus of my comment. Critique doesn’t have to be negative.
@baxtermallory10063 ай бұрын
They criticize, it is not the media's place to influence negativity. They recognize and share the collective fan disgruntled and frustrations. You are confusing news media with commentary driven media. In this case Sports commentary/annalist where you are paid to be critical and create headlines by being contrary when they're successful and especially when they're unsuccessful. Also referred to as sensationalism. It sells especially to throngs in the angry mobs. Unfortunately that type of media has become mainstream just like The news was just reported good bad or otherwise and they let the reader or viewer make their own decision. Now we have influencers, And their goal is to influence you to get more watches of their video more listens of their audio content they honestly don't care why as long as they are getting lots of clicks.
