I've gotta say Trading 212 is one of the best if not the best teaching channels, he really explains it like you're a 5 year old which is exactly how I need it to be lol

my struggle now is letting winners run to take profit or longer and my losing trades just lose so much. for example, yesterday's trades, I executed 7 times (way too much I know) my rule is 1-2 MAX PER DAY. So, I lost one of them so one loss, 6 wins. BUT my loss was larger and winners were smaller. I ended up negative.

I really enjoy this channel because you guys seem so genuine and honest and I believe that's something that's necessary when trying to look for useful knowledge. A lot of trade channels seem forced, ignorant, and ultimately trying to sell you something and that's what's fueling the channel over trying to teach good and useful information.

Thanks for this. I've been listening to your technical advice and like how you break it down and make it easy to understand. The psychology of trading is a real issue and you nailed it.

Hi David, like your video's. Regarding the example 25 wins/25 loses. If you trade with 100 and you will lose, you lose 100. If you trade with the same 100 and you win (50% profit) you win 50 and not 150. In your example you pretend a profit of 150% instead of 50%. Am I correct?
@davidjones24527 жыл бұрын
Hi Richard. I am a bit confused but let me see if I can explain it better. I wasn't talking so much about the amount you trade with, more about the outcome of each trade. Let's say you had £10,000 in your account and risked losing £100 on each trade, but when you were right your profit was £200. You could still be right only half the time (even less) and still make money because of your risk versus reward. I hope this explains it better but feel free to ask again.
