Just started loaning signing part time. Starting slow because I still work a 9 to 5. Just received my 1st assignment a couple of two weeks ago and it went great! I had to go out of town within this last week so I couldn't take any other assignments but as time goes on, I'm seeing more and more companies reach out to me so the potential is there. The busiest time for real estate is toward the end of the month so make yourself available if possible. I'm also interested in freelance writing or ebooks.

@Elyse George I’ve been in real estate for 20 years and I have my connections. Thing is I live in an attorney state, so attorneys usually have someone in house who can notarize docs. Being in a title state, in this instance, has its advantages. Of course there are more opportunities, but I started where I was familiar. When that didn’t pan out, I turned to signing agent companies and that was where my challenge was. I’m happy people are working and making money at it. Luckily I didn’t quit my day job...lol...and have found something else that works for me.

Location is very important, places like NYC would be very difficult due to it being an attorney state and there are so many NSAs already...

I don’t live in an attorney state and this is still true. You have to literally stay on the signing service apps/webpages and hit refresh constantly because offers literally get snatched up in seconds. Videos are all over KZbin about how to do this bc it’s become so popular over the years, it’s just way more people than work unfortunately. I still do it occasionally when I can luck up and catch an offer.

Notaries do not get paid that much. The market is saturated. I did not a notary for a mortgage signing for my state. The most they charge in my area is Ten dollars they need to stop.

There is an application from your county court house and money order to send to one of the listed state representative or legislator if not listed it goes to your state secretary office. Check out National Notary Association online. They will inform your of requirements for your state. And check out mobile notaries or online notary on youtube. It is research involved with everything. It can be done and found. I'm working on getting mine. Good luck to you!
