Today I am sharing 3 quick and easy curry pastes which are perfect to make ahead of time and freeze for a later date. I hope you enjoy these recipes and thank you as always for watching :)

RECIPES & INGREDIENTS:
THAI GREEN CURRY PASTE:
1 nub ginger, 3 garlic cloves, 2 shallots, 1 green chilli, 1 lime, 2 spring onions, 1tsp fish sauce, 1tsp lemongrass, 1tsp cumin, 1 heaped tsp lime pickle, handful coroner, 3tbsp olive oil, salt & pepper.
KERRY'S SPECIAL CURRY PASTE:
3 shallots, 3 garlic cloves, 1 nub ginger, 1 lime juice, 200ml veg stock, 1/2tsp turmeric, 2tsp garam masala, 1tsp smoked paprika, 2tbsp curry powder, salt & pepper.
KORMA CURRY PASTE:
1 nub ginger, 3 garlic cloves, 1 green chilli, handful coriander, 1/2tsp cayenne pepper, 2tsp garam masala, 1tbsp tomato paste, 3tbsp desiccated coconut, 50g ground almonds, 5tbsp ground nut oil, salt & pepper.

These look good - a define plus is that they freeze well. Gadget a great asset- I have a food mixer which has a "mini" chopper attachment that does the same 😒 so can't really warrant getting one but really like it so.... 😀 may just have to have a look 😉. Love your new kitchen x

We love a curry and I will definetly be making these. Just checked what ingredients I need to get - already have most of them. The chopper looks great and I love the fact the dish is glass and not plastic like the ones I have and have had in the past. Will definetly be looking into getting the one you have if mines needs replaced. Thanks for sharing x

Hi Kerry - I hope your Christmas went well! Thank you for these curry recipes. Just to get a sense of quantity, how much meat, fish, or perhaps potato if making a vegetarian curry, would each of these pastes cover please? For example, for an all round mild curry would 2kg (circa 4.5 lb) of meat be too much for the quantity from just one of these? (My wife and I enjoy a flavoursome curry but not everyone in our family enjoys the "warmer" tastes ...) Thank you - regards and keep safe in that really nasty weather you are having over in the USA this festive season!

Lovely yum, how much would you use of the paste to make a curry. You have made fairly big bowls, a couple of tablespoons or the whole bowl.

I actually use the whole lot in one curry but that’s because I always make enough curry for leftovers for lunch the next day! So I would say the curry I make would feed 6 adults :) it’s the coriander that bulks it out, the amount of spices you use is the right amount for 1 curry batch :) xxx

I had a small jar of lime pickle in and we didn't like it so I threw it out. If only I'd seen this first. Never thought to add it into the cooking process. Do love a good curry.

I use one of these curry pastes for each curry.. it seems a lot to use but the spices are all the right amount to make one large curry which would feed around 6 adults so you have plenty of leftovers for the next day :) xxx
