To Travel in Vistadome coach, I left Bengaluru at night 11:00pm and reached Mangalore at morning 6:30am. Bangalore-Mangalore train departing time was 11:00am and planned to reach Railway station by 10:00am. To spend the remaining 3 hours i explored mangalore by walk and taking ferry ride to reach Thanniru Bavi beach. Met few fishermen at Boat yard with their fishing boats.

@@HappyToExplore you could always visit pilikula but may require a whole day to explore since it has multiple attractions including zoo, planetarium, botanical garden, regional science centre, artisan village, landscape garden ( fish museum, boating) and the likes.. From Mangaluru central railway station, you can visit Milagres Church, Tagore park (evening 4-6), Aloysius Chapel (post 9am no photography within the chapel) Aloysius museum (no photography within), city centre Mall, sharavu temple, the famed ideals ice cream parlor, Jain restaurant (veg), Perira hotel (non veg) all within walking distance... Do get extra pair of clothes to manage the sweat though 😉 Other than that there are around 21 beaches in Mangalore and I have made a compilation of 19 of them kzbin.info/www/bejne/rqSQm4SVlK2beqM And still there's lots more like kadri temple, park, Bunder area, Rosario cathedral containing the Portuguese kings seal when they first reached Mangaluru, etc; kzbin.info/www/bejne/apzLhoaibpp7q5o
